Nice to see McFamily enjoying some time at the lake for July 4th weekend.

Yes, the young birds do tend to have a scruffy look about them. Great that you see them visiting.

Nice collection of crystals, geodes and spheres! That big white one was a wonderful find/gift...thanks to GA.

I used a typewriter just like that when I started my first clerical job.

That was a long Gramma day! Although a fun day, I can imagine you needed some rest afterwards. I know I needed it after a day with Mikayla and/or Maddy. Precious Grandchild time is worth any pain that follows.

Love sky pic at the end. :)Serena Lewishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17789734075055678964noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-29503764.post-68995700460264640772018-07-16T09:37:35.645-05:002018-07-16T09:37:35.645-05:00Wow! I'd love to jump in that lake!!
I always get a kick out of seeing Annie watching her feathered friends. There are always critters to keep her entertained.

That old Underwood typewriter is fantastic. I really miss the good ol' days when people actually typed. I used to have several old typewriters but don't know what ever happened to them. My father probably threw them out or gave them to Goodwill (he was notorious for getting rid of my things).Jonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02619128793632680659noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-29503764.post-91290288514852933782018-07-10T19:52:15.585-05:002018-07-10T19:52:15.585-05:00I have never seen a crystal ball but would like to...I have never seen a crystal ball but would like to see and hold one. I never got a crystal ball, though if I came across one that spoke to me I'd find a way to bring it home :) I'm always happy to see your patio happenings. Always something going on out there!

My mother had one of the old manual typewriters, but I don't remember what brand it was or at what point she passed it on to someone else. The finger painting looks like fun, and your calming calligraphy drills are beautifully drawn.

That is a good point to view the sunset. Labradorite is a favorite and I'm going to have to go read about old Canadian rocks. Your bird picture - looks like Annie is doing her own study (LOL). I love all the work you did on Ian's day with you. My gson was never big on it but Diva - she'd draw all day if you let her. Finally, the typewriter - when I saw it I was going to ask if you could type on it. It's such a touch thing and we are all so spoiled by computer keyboards - even a selectric would be hard. I also learned to type on one of those. It lived in the hall closet at my parents' house and I was always fascinated with typing so I taught myself. Never did well with it in school but I got REALLY good when I was doing production typing for a check printing company: name, address, phone, account. Numbers? No problem! You certainly covered the gamut this week! So fun - thank you!TammyVhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03521837748464865233noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-29503764.post-43565300234951520652018-07-10T11:34:58.069-05:002018-07-10T11:34:58.069-05:00Love your "patio theater"!!Love your "patio theater"!!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-29503764.post-7598303173522261722018-07-10T00:41:54.638-05:002018-07-10T00:41:54.638-05:00What gorgeous skies! Thank you for sharing your special rocks and how you chose them. Your typewriter looks a bit older than the one I started on - I typed all my essays on one about that size - it was a well used typing class (no letters or numbers on keys) black typewriter and I used for about 10 years before I got a newer lightweight and a lot less interesting typewriter. Thanks for showing more 'bird' action.
Hugs.
JoyJoy@aVintageGreenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16788328980114729976noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-29503764.post-85095568621791185032018-07-09T13:56:13.230-05:002018-07-09T13:56:13.230-05:00Hey, you did remember!
