I have had restless nights now and again where, no matter how hard I try, I just can't get to sleep. Then I feel drained the next day. It's good you can work around the crazy sleep patterns.Serena Lewishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17789734075055678964noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-29503764.post-20582818132842019442008-10-29T14:18:00.000-05:002008-10-29T14:18:00.000-05:00Hi Serena!I have been a night owl since I was born...Hi Serena!
I have been a night owl since I was born, actually. Love the late night hours!! But when menopause hit me I got genuine insomnia--where you can't sleep at all no matter if you are so tired your eyes burn and you could walk into walls--and eespecially was unable to sleep at night--all night--like going to bed between 7am-noon! It was really bad for a couple of years--where I'd be awake for 24-36 hours at a time. Crazy!

It has been subsiding--thank goodness! I thought it might be gone since I was on days suddenly for so long. But when it hits--it's not like my normal night owl stuff--I am totally incapable of sleeping no matter how tired I am. I just have to wait until I am able to sleep--no matter when that is--and sleep as long as I can--hehe! Thank goodness Karma doesn't care when I sleep--hehe! And I was already on disability in the first place. Always a silver lining, eh?

This being on days for over two months--was something completely new for me. Maybe that was hormonal, too--ROFL!! Probably! :)Ritahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02043285884495492598noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-29503764.post-49245358985848054692008-10-27T15:31:00.001-05:002008-10-27T15:31:00.001-05:00Ooooops, I seem to be making mistake after mistake...Ooooops, I seem to be making mistake after mistake here. lol I forgot to add that Karma looks VERY cute in the pic ~ :)Serena Lewishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17789734075055678964noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-29503764.post-23174273107870610462008-10-27T15:31:00.000-05:002008-10-27T15:31:00.000-05:00I meant to comment on your sleep patterns in the l...I meant to comment on your sleep patterns in the last post. It's probably because of your colder weather coming in and your body senses it. I too think you should listen to your body and sleep when it needs to rather than trying to force a schedule. I would love to be able to stay up late into the wee hours as I'd be alone with myself while the rest of the household sleeps and I'd get more art stuff done without distractions. Unfortunately, for me, I've always been an early bird so I'm up at 5 am and start yawning at 9:30 pm. lolSerena Lewishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17789734075055678964noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-29503764.post-41317688177621369842008-10-27T15:28:00.000-05:002008-10-27T15:28:00.000-05:00This comment has been removed by the author.Serena Lewishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17789734075055678964noreply@blogger.com
