They are great, but take a little practice. The hardest thing is to thread it. When you want to change threads, tie the new thread onto the the of the old and carefully pull through as far as you can. If it comes unthreaded, maybe you can find threading directions online for the brand. <br />BTW, your headline still says you are living with Karma. If you note the Brand and Model, you should be able to google to find the instruction booklet and even download it. I've done that a few times when instruction booklets have gone missing. I LOVED my overlocker when I sewed regurlarly. So handy and neat. I had a five spool overlocker so it could actually do a separate seam beside the overlocked edge. You will love it once you get the hang of it. <br /><br />Mikayla and Maddy had a bike like that.
