I think by the time you are ready to move, things should be in fairly good shape. Poor Ian. I hope he is OK now.

Good that you had a brief chat with your mother. I'm sure just hearing her voice was a big relief for you.

I'll let you get back to purging, now (grin). Moving from one place to another is always hard, but this home is all she's ever known. But you're right, she will love it once it's all over. You have been really busy. I'm hoping it all goes as planned. You are sure doing your part! I know you will take it slow and easy and listen to your body. :-)DJanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07152183871573797791noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-29503764.post-31541712816843858902015-06-19T22:36:40.531-05:002015-06-19T22:36:40.531-05:00I wish your mom was doing better, too. It must have been scary for Dagan and Leah when he started to vomit after hitting his little head. I know I'd be scared.

Moving isn't easy, and when you don't feel well, it makes things that much harder. I hope all goes well when the time comes. You sound very well organized. That's a big step in itself. :)AliceKayhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12027650364526343030noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-29503764.post-68696681244177175892015-06-19T17:45:50.912-05:002015-06-19T17:45:50.912-05:00I bet we all could use a Caroline – LOL! Plus there's so much to do. My daughter has a charity fundraiser garage every spring and I already have a huge pile. Don't know if I can look at it for nine months! Poor Ian. I would have been completely freaking out if one of the boys started vomiting after a fall when they were real little. Scary stuff. Glad you were able to talk with mom. I know that makes you feel better :) Karma will survive as long as you're there. But, unfortunately, there probably will be a lot of vomiting :( Take care.GrandmaGhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08155312241647998530noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-29503764.post-80945230856216637992015-06-19T17:22:55.338-05:002015-06-19T17:22:55.338-05:00Hi, dear Rita! At least she continues to make at some progress on her journey to recovery. It breaks my heart to know that Ian bumped his noggin so hard. Poor little guy. I hope he heals quickly and completely. I think Karma will be used to the upheaval in her life by the time moving day arrives and that should help her to adjust more easily. It's good to have some familiar items and toys already transferred there so that she can smell them when she arrives and feel reassured. I hope the move goes smoothly for all of you.

Enjoy your weekend, dear friend Rita!Shady Del Knighthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03839935472941264414noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-29503764.post-6109391498149579542015-06-19T16:46:27.669-05:002015-06-19T16:46:27.669-05:00I'm so glad to hear you are making good progre...I'm so glad to hear you are making good progress with the move - there are a lot of logistics to plan for - with the Karma move making it a little harder. Poor little Ian, what a shock for him. Reassuring that he was able to be observed in hospital for a while, to put his parents' mind at rest. I love the quote at the end of your post.
