Saturday-7:45am

Last night the rain finally let up.
Beginning of the month U-Haul.

The sun peeked out just as it was setting.

Karma's sleeping better than I am--hehe!

This morning the effects of days of rain were everywhere.

Water sitting in the fields.

The main parking lot puddle.

Me--been watching Planet Earth as a beautiful escape from this cold and sore throat. I am especially awed by the aerial shots, but this is an amazing series! Here's a peek at what I've been watching the past couple nights. :)

This is actually a hippo walking thru the wetlands in the rainy season.

Wild dogs.

Wow! Love this series!!
Feeling too yucky to make it over to K&Krafts for the free demos today. Bummer! :( I love going to those demos! It is National Card Making Day today, folks! That is why JoAnn's is having such a sale on their cardmaking supplies--40% off! I did an online order yesterday to JoAnn's and to Spellbinders. Ordered the Cuttlebug and a whole bunch of goodies for it--tada!! Leah and I can hardly wait until it gets here!! :):)
Budgeting, balancing the checkbook, ordering the Cuttlebug & accessories, and ordering groceries is about all I have managed to push myself to do the last couple of days. Today it is laundry. If I am still feeling like this tomorrow I probably won't go with Dagan and Leah to the Studio Art Crawl, either. We'll see--but it seems to be getting worse and not better. :(
So--I am watching Planet Earth and shows I have taped from the new season--blowing my nose--dozing when I can in my chair--and now occasionally coughing...
later....:):)

Ohhhhhhhhh...feel and BE better soon, Rita! Tea with honey and lemon and a shot or two of scotch is what my Daddy always used to recommend - if they're big shots you might not feel alot better but you won't care. J/K, or not...Daddy never seemed to have a cold hang around long.

Seems to be going around. A lot of the authors of blogs I read are down with something. Keep taking care of yourself and hope you feel better soon.

That country is so flat - the water has no where to go (but up and down!)

Hope you are feeling better now.

And those pictures of that show are fabulous! PBS wonderful meets digital TV goodness. :)

So sorry to hear you're under the weather lately.....I'm still not 100% after the dust storm. I hope you feel better soon. Being sick is just no fun at all but WOW, I think I might get me the Planet Earth series....awesome pictures and I'm sure it would make anyone feel grateful and appreciative for this wonderful planet we inhabit.

Thanks so much everybody! I was really under the weather for a while there. Now I am trying to catch up online. :)

Yes--Planet Earth is beautiful to see and makes you view the earth in an even wider scope than most of the documentaries I've seen. I think it is those amazing aerial shots! :):) I have three more to watch as they arrive. Can hardly wait!
