Tuesday-12:30pm

Good afternoon!  Yes, I am quite behind schedule today.
We've had a dusting of snow and some very cold weather.  Single digits.
South of us in the Twin Cites they got pretty dumped on but it missed us up here.  We've mostly had cold, gray skies...
...but did see some blue sky a few times this past week.
I spent Saturday over with McFamily.  Gramma got to watch Ian while Mama and Daddy put up Christmas lights outside on the house (about 20 degrees so they had to come in and warm up a few times) and shift things about in the garage so they can get both cars in there this winter.
****
Ian really likes to be sitting up these days...or practicing his standing.  Loves his little jumpy seat contraption.
We were having a great time yucking it up...so I grabbed the camera.
Thought maybe I could encourage him to do the raspberry for you, but he was more interested in the camera and trying to converse with Gramma--LOL!

I even stayed around for bath time!
Note: They were talking about replacing those waterfall faucets.  You can't take them apart to clean them and they get gross inbetween there.  We all love the red and black sinks!
****
After Ian went to bed Leah cut my hair for me--ahhh!  I don't think I got home till after 11:30pm.  A really nice day!
****
I was in pretty rough shape on Sunday and Monday, of course.  No surprise--LOL!  The extra long visit was totally worth it.  ;)  Feeling better today and finally slept decently...so today I am doing laundry and Caroline's boss will be here pretty soon (Katie got sick and had to reschedule from last Friday).
All you ladies over at Elizabeth's T Stands For Tuesday--take note that I am back, once again, to my trusty, very old Thermos cup.  You may recall I had troubles with the new Contigo cup dribbling on me?  (For those of you who don't know, I have a bum left arm--muscle damage from a job over 20 years ago.)  Well, I learned how to, little by little, keep twisting to get it tight enough not to dribble...but then...I couldn't get it back off again--ROFL!  So, it is now over at McFamily's where I will always have help.  :)  It holds like 2 1/2 cups of coffee and keeps it warm for a long, long time...but I need assistance to use it--LOL!
****
Karma finds my antics quite amusing.
Anyways, I haven't much else to report.  Let's just say it wasn't a very productive week for me.  One of those hobbling about weeks.  But Leah and I do plan to work on some Christmas projects this week.  I'll try to remember to take pictures.
****
The sun is trying to come out.  Karma's snoozing on a chair next to me.  I have to go switch clothes in the washer and dryer.  It's 21 degrees (-6C) and getting sunnier as I've been chatting with you all.
Life is good!
Have a wonderful week!!  :):)

Ah, your weather and my weather are SO similar. It was 6F here last night and now we're a balmy 25F, as the sun has come out in full force. But we got way more snow than you. And bitterly cold, driving wind. From the looks of it, a "dusting" described your snow perfectly.

Love the video of Ian. He's such a cutie. And Karma looks very content under the table.

Thanks for sharing your mug, images and videos of Ian, sky photos, and Karma with us for T this Tuesday. Now it's probably time to get that laundry out of the dryer (grin)!

He's so adorable. Was that a modesty diaper just for the camera?

And look at ms. Karma with her criss-crossed paws. So sweet.

Yay! Thanks for giving us out "Ian fix" for the week! He is just a cutie!

We had a dusting overnight last week, but it was gone by afternoon. We are in the 30s here right now, so not too bad.

A baby tub in the big tub! That's brilliant. Does the little sling between his legs keep him from sliding down? You should tell Leah that I used to wash The Hurricane's scalp with a soft-bristled toothbrush. She loved that gentle massaging so much that she looked as if she'd found Heaven. The red sinks are pretty, but too often, pretty is not practical.

Love,
Janie

So happy to see your posts. Ian is cuter ever update! We're having frigid temps in St. Louis, also. It's going to be a long winter!

I remember having a tub that fit into the big tub when my kids were little. Ours had edges that rested on the big tub sides so that the baby was sitting higher up more at hand. It was so much easier on my back than bending. Your little one is a sweetie :)

Ian is getting so big! It amazes me how quickly it all happens. I loved seeing him in the bath, and he's adorable all right. Glad you have recovered from all that activity. :-)

Hello, dear Rita! It's been a while since I visited you but I was so happy when you visited me today that I was compelled to drop by. (I hope we will both make a habit of this.)

As you recall I live in Central Florida and last night was the coldest night of the season. It dropped into the upper 30s but with the wind chill factored in, it felt like the 20s.

Little Ian had just been born the last time I was here. It is so nice to see him. What a great looking little guy he is and a winning smile!

I am also happy to see your kitty Karma again. I wish I could be there and have him in my lap (if he'd agree to it) and scratch him for hours. I take care of two stray cats that live in my back yard. Both are very tame and loved to rub against my legs when I'm outdoors feeding them.

Please take good care of yourself and stay warm, dear friend Rita. I hope you will come over to see me again soon at SDMM. You are always welcome there. God bless!

SOOOOO CUTE! He is just truly adorable. My niece had her baby last week and she is just perfect. I was too disorganized and never did get a onesie made like your coke one.....I loved that onesie! I guess there's still time though as I could get one made for Christmas! Bless Karma :)

Ian is growing up so fast already! I'm glad you're able to get in lots of visits to enjoy watching it.

No sign of snow here, unfortunately. And the way things are going we're going to have another very stormy but snow free Winter (like last year). *sigh*

ChicagoLady is right. Ian does have beautiful blue eyes. He is quite the talker, too. Just wait until he really starts talking. :)

Always nice to see a picture of Karma. She is a beautiful cat.

It's been bitter cold here, and I'm not liking it. I'm afraid I'm going to have a hard time with the cold weather this winter. My feet are like ice at the moment, but soon they will be beet red and feel like they're on fire.

Very nice quote.
