Thursday-5:30pm

The odd hours continue. Karma and I have been sleeping our way around the clock.

Didn't even get to bed until almost 10am this morning. Very hard to keep my days straight again--hehe! Oh well. I am sleeping--ahhhh! Even if it is during the day. *sigh*
I finished another book yesterday from Caroline--Pick Your Poison by Leann Sweeney. And now I am reading her second mystery book called A Wedding To Die For. A Texas twin, Abby Rose, turned amateur detective. Funny colloquialisms abound. [Example: "I was beginning to feel as useful as an outhouse on a submarine."] There were many suspects and twists in the first book--am looking forward to her second one.
West of us there is currently a blizzard raging and creeping across North Dakota--no travel suggested--power outages--up to 80mph winds--three feet of snow someplace I didn't catch. Headed our way, but it is still raining here so far--and windy. Good curl up and read weather, eh? No gentle flakes drifting softly down reminding me of It's A Wonderful Life and White Christmas--more like the pioneer days where you'd better string a rope from the house to the barn so you don't get lost at milking time and found in the spring. The storm may die down a little before it reaches us here. The middle of North Dakota is getting 3-10 inches of snow right now. Winter has arrived.
Stay safe and warm!

Thanks so much for reading my book and saying such nice things. I hope you enjoy A Wedding to Die For, a book I loved writing. It's probably the most light-hearted of the series.

Take care,
Leann

What a pleasant surprise to see a comment from you--the author--here on my little blog! Thanks for stopping by. I just started "A Wedding To Die For". I love how you begin your books--hehe! "My daddy always said that if you want to round up some liars head to a wedding or a funeral." And, of course, we are shortly going to both! :) You're most welcome!
