Friday-10:15am

It's been a long time since I've been paying special attention to my soul, I guess. Dagan and Leah and I haven't had a Sacred Circle since last winter. About a week ago I decided to find some things to do...found this Chakra Balancing kit I have been going to get to for years. You have seen it before--ROFL! I did start this time, tho. Honest! :)
And I've been writing letters in all those bookcards. Karma keeps me company. Sometimes I think she must have been a dog in her last life--hehe!
Got my first Christmas card right after Thanksgiving--girl from high school. Always so nice to get cards and letters in the mail! :)
The new cat box was ordered! The sale was over the end of November so Dagan and Leah floated me the money till I got my check today. Leah ordered it on the 29th--tada!
****
This is the old one--in the hallway.
Was an inexpensive toybox from Target that Leah cut a hole in the end of...
...and found a big plastic storage container to cut down for a litter box.
The center brace contraption thing broke shortly after we got it. The piece that keeps it from slamming on your head--which it did to poor Caroline this week!! (She vacuums the carpet on the bottom for me.) Caroline's even excited about the new cat box--hehe!
****
When Caroline got here she told me that it looked like one of the roofers was stuck up on the roof. Sure enough! Was terribly cold to be stuck up there! They didn't have any ladders tall enough and it took them a couple of hours to get the arm thing with the cage to come back down--then they left the big machine there by the building.
Well, it has been in the single digits and machinery can freeze up, I suppose. Still wondering if they will be done before Christmas. ;)
****
Cashwise is delivering my groceries for the month today. Fun plastic bag times for Karma.
****
Let's see...
Oh, I haven't heard back from my email to Barnes & Noble about the medical textbooks and mistake on my order. If I don't hear anything by Monday I am planning on trying to call customer service.
****
I spent a day organizing a Mind-Body-Soul weekly checklist for myself. Tell you more about that another day. Right now, I need to walk some mail down before the mail truck arrives. Have a great weekend!! :):)

We are on the same wavelength, Rita...I was only thinking to myself the other day that I've been a little slack with my daily meditations and really need to get back into it. The Chakra Balancing kit looks interesting. I have a Chakra Balancing book by Sonia Choquette which I find really good too.

It's looking a might cold there. We officially started our summer on December 1st and, so far, it's been raining on and off. The forecasts say that we are going to be in for a cool, wet summer which I think will be a pleasant change from the steaming hot and humid summers that we normally get. Even our spring was very mild this year whereas, normally, it's sweltering.

Enjoy your weekend,
Serena xo

I've received a few Christmas cards in the mail so far. I even mailed one out today. I should get to working on the rest of mine soon.

I hope Karma likes her new box. The one you made out of the toy box was really neat, tho.

I'd hate to be the guy stuck up on the roof in that kind of weather. Terri works out in the cold and weather every day. It's not easy.

We were forecast to get some flurries today, but while out shopping late this afternoon, it started snowing and didn't let up. We drove home in a pretty bad snow squall. My car (sitting in Monroeton) was covered with wet heavy snow by the time we got that far.

I hope you don't have to go thru too much trouble trying to return that text book that was sent to you in error. I would think they'd want to get it corrected as soon as possible.

Have a great weekend! :)

Serena--We must be! It's been on my mind the last couple of weeks. Dagan and Leah and I plan to have a Sacred Circle if we can arrange it before Christmas. I think I get to feeling off balance when I neglect any parts of me--hehe!
You guys could use a cooler summer after the hot humid one you had last year! And with a new little granddaughter arriving!! :):)

AliceKay--I will start addressing my cards pretty soon, too.
Leah is so clever. I had no clue what to do about a cat box when I found out I could have a cat. Leah came up with this perfect solution. But it is pretty gross right now--hehe! Be glad to let this one go to the trash. ;)
Glad you got home okay. I hate driving in bad weather. We have snow again here, too. :)

Karma gets any larger, you will need one of those containers they use on cargo ships and trains.

:) Leah is talented with the cutting, just give her a torch to put a door in it.

It looks down right COLD in Fargo - makes me get itchy feet and fream of places with palm trees! If I'm gonna get stuck "up there" anywhere, I want a coconut nearby.

I like the quote by Richard Bach.

I love snow but I do feel bad for those that have to deal with it alot to the point of keeping the cars warm and such. That poor roofer, I bet he will try not to get stuck on the roof again especially in that cold weather lol I love getting cards in the mail also but I dont get too many but Im ok with that I still love sending them out :o)

Too many things get in the way of meditations and things. I've been really slack with things like that in this past year myself. Especially the last couple of months. Funnily enough, it's when you could do with doing things like that most that you seem to struggle with finding time to do it, if you know what I mean.

Hope Karma likes her new box.

Iggy--Yah! I found a larger cat box as long as I was buying a new one--hehe! This new one is made for hiding litter boxes so Leah doesn't even have to cut a hole in this one. Yah! Been cold up here. Youbetcha!

Lynn--I know. Did the brushing and scraping and warming and defrosting for years--till my "forced retirement". ;)
I mail out more cards than I get back, also, but I love making them and sending them, too. :):)

Tori--I agree. Sometimes it is the times we really need to pay attention to the spiritual side that we don't seem to do it. So true! ;)
I hope Karma loves her new box. I think she will once she tries it. This one will have more room inside. :)
