Not sure if I will add anything else to these or not, but this is what I worked on last night.
Just a few little sparkles...
...and do-dads...
...and trim.
Slept all day and will be up all night. Blogging a little earlier this time--hehe! Warmer--closer to 20 degrees--and supposed to have a little more snow this weekend--maybe an inch.

Me--I'll probably continue puttering with cards this weekend. Maybe get back to some letters/bookcards. Wash some clothes. Watch some movies. Big plans--hehe! :)

Have a good Saturday.
Hi Rita! You were up as late as me last night. But I went to bed around 2am. Your day was just getting started. I love your cards! My favorite is the one with the flowers in the middle! Very charming!
I'm getting back to blogging too. Yesterday I wrote about the art supplies I picked up in the cities. I'm going to try them out today!
Happy Saturday to you!
Hi AliceKay!
You must be a pink kind of girl who likes the lighter colors and florals. :)
Been an interesting Saturday--hehe! ;)
Hi Jennifer!
Do you mean the one with the bold abstract flowers and the orange? I have been having such fun with all these wild papers--not the usual fare from me--hehe!
Glad you are back to blogging! The gouache looks interesting--and those bold inks! It's fun to see what you are doing with your handmade journal.I'm following you now, too. :)
They are all so lovely, Rita...very hard to pick a favourite but, if I absolutely had to, it would probably be the middle card in the top row..with the orange strip of ribbon. :)
Hi Serena,
I think it is interesting to see what different people prefer. Many of the papers I have been choosing lately are much bolder and brighter and even more abstract and retro than I would have ever purchased before. (I tend to like florals, pastels, and more victorian looking prints.) I think I felt the need to stretch out and try some new styles. Get out of my rut, so to speak. I've never been one to buy the flashy sparkles or bold embellishments, either--but these new papers kind of called out for something different, too--hehe! Challenging doing new things--or new slants on old things, I guess I should say. :)
Yes, my favorite is the one with the abstract flowers and the little dew drops :) So pretty!
I've been bitten by the creativity bug again since I've been working from home. I've been reading, writing, and working with my art again at night, and it feels wonderful! Glad to be following you too again, my creative friend!
Jennifer--Are you going to be working here in Fargo again? Or are you just on a break? So glad to hear that you are having time to relax and read and get creative! I bet you have missed it. Are you watching movies, too? I know you are busy with your new beau, too. So happy for you. :)
Rita - I've been able to work from home since the middle of January. There's no need for us to travel to AR right now for our project. And it has been so nice! Still a lot to do though!
I rented a couple movies over the weekend - Whip It and The Time Traveler's Wife. Was surprised how much I enjoyed Whip It. And The Time Traveler's Wife...the book is sooooo much better.
Thanks for the comments about "the beau"...he's great and I like him a lot :) heh heh.
Jennifer--it must be sooo nice to be home for a while. I hope you get to stay for a while. I'm sure your beau must love that, too. ;)
I have both those movies on my Netflix list--and did read The Time Traveler's Wife and liked it. I am forewarned--hehe!
