Not sleeping well tonight, obviously. Thought I'd pop in and tell you that, because I was reminded of my writing magazines last post, I picked up my Poets & Writers again...
...and made it thru to the back. I guess I should read my magazines faster--ROFL! Look what I found under all the "Recent Winners" listings!
Ha! Me!! Do you believe it? In a magazine I have read off and on since college. Wow! Never would have imagined this. Nice! :)
I thought this had happened too long ago for it to ever be included, so I was quite surprised. Pleasantly!! :):)

There's another big thunderstorm with occasional hail and a lot of lightning heading this way, so I should shut down the McLap--go take a pain pill and try to catch a few more Zs. Oh--and the TV is working and recording gloriously!!! :):)

Congrats on making it into the magazine for winning the poetry contest. I bet that was neat to see. Would you believe that Pine City, New York, is only a hop, skip, and a jump away from me? (about 35 miles by car)
