Friday-9am

Good Morning!
Supposed to be another day where we hit the 90s.  The sun is coming in and out from behind the clouds, but I tried to take some pictures this morning to show you what Dagan and Leah and I did last night.
We moved the rug!!
I guess I didn't have a very good "before" picture, but maybe you can see that the rug was pretty much centered in the room if you click on the picture.
Before.
After.
The rug had a definite issue with the desk chair and chair mat.
These are pics pre-chair mat.
Before.
After.
Now there's only the one corner under the chair mat--tada!  Puckers and wrinkles from the mat moving the rug about will be easy to pull over and straighten out.  We moved the chairs back so it looks like a designated TV area now, doesn't it?  We moved the furniture down closer to the patio door, too, so that there will be more room when I get my new chair.
Awesome!

This was Miss Karma blinking in the sunlight this morning...
...next to the IMAX patio door, of course.
Okay, I have got to tell you this!  I had been losing blog post notifications like crazy over the past couple months.  I'm not even sure when it started because I've been really busy with the move since May, as you know.  Since I knew I was taking at least a week of R&R I finally investigated a couple days ago...and guess what?!  A whole slew of you were ending up in my spam folder!  Google deletes after a month, but just in August I had over 700 blog emails that I had to go through and mark as "Not Spam"!!
****
Needless to say, I could not possibly read 700 blog posts.  So if you haven't heard from me and there's anything important I missed on your blog in the last few months please, please let me know, okay?
****
So a lot of you will see me around again.  Well, at least I hope all the endless "not spam" clicking worked.  I still think I am missing some blogs.  And, of course, I am still not getting all of your blog comment notifications so that I can reply to your comments.  :(  That hasn't changed--and may never.  (Something to do with email addresses, I heard.)  You can always email me if you haven't heard a reply from me in a while.
****
Goodness sakes!
Over 700 in one month!!
No wonder I can't keep up online--ROFL!

Oh, and I found my bluetooth!  Have you ever put something away carefully for safekeeping and then forgotten where that safe place was?  LOL!  I had padded the bluetooth up by wrapping it in a wad of Puffs tissues because I was putting it in a little front velcro pouch in the laptop bag that I used to carry over all my techie stuff when I moved--laptop, tablet, cellphone, cords, etc.  When I unpacked...well, I saw the wad of tissues and just thought that's all it was...a wad of tissues.  Totally forgot the bluetooth was safely wrapped with care inside that wad--LOL!  So--it is found.  And--Leah traded me for hers because she isn't using it much anymore and hers still holds a charge better.  (I can't hold a phone very long with the bum arm.)

The rose lamp is out in the garage...
... and one of the new table lamps is up on top of the desk.
Matched the one I have below on the desk top and the two that will be in the studio.
****
Miss Karma is now checking out the new position of the rug.  Having the furniture shift about while she hid under my bed...well, that was a bit disconcerting to her when she reemerged last night.  Looks like she got over it quick enough--LOL!
So.  That's a quick "what's happening in Fargo" update--LOL!  And--once again--I totally forgot to take any pictures at all since I last posted so all of these were taken this morning.  Oh, and we did see the grouse family last night!  The babies are getting so big!  Can't think of anything else right now.  Still on R&R and being good.  Never was able to make it out to do any chair shopping with Leah.  Maybe this coming week.  Started feeling a bit better yesterday.  Caroline brought groceries.  I ordered some little things for the apartment from Amazon...
Life is good.
Take care!!
See you Tuesday!  :) :)

Yes, I have done that "putting it somewhere for safekeeping" and then totally forgetting where I put it. It looks just fabulous in your living room. I really like the way it is coming together. :-)

The rug looks great and it does look more like a separate area now! I am always putting stuff away for "safe keeping" and before you know it, It is on the lost list. Glad you found yours! Happy long weekend Rita!

Hi Rita, I've been MIA myself for over a month and wow what a difference. You've moved in and it looks fabulous. Karma seems to have settled in really well and looks quite content. I'm sure you'll be really happy there. Have a great week,
Von.

I'm not sure if I was missing or not... I just assumed you were very busy with your move. That's an incredible amount of blogs.
Your apartment is looking very organised now and I love the light shining in... and obviously so does Karma.
It's good to hear that you are so settled and happy in your new home. Enjoy!

It's good to know you can get my blog posts again and know I'm not spam. Nicely done on the rug and the way the slight moving changed the entire feel of the room.

Glad you found your bluetooth. I don't hold my phone anymore. That's what speaker was made for. I only talk on a speaker phone because I simply can't hold a phone to my ear anymore. Sorry I'm late getting here. Now I'm off to Sally's for a few hours.
