Last night--tornado watch, tornados west of us, driving rain, 48 mph winds, and low of 45 degrees last night.
They have been building dikes. Flooded farmland--some of them it is the second planting that is drowning--some of them have never been able to plant at all yet. Not good.
I located the website for the local Fargo/Moorhead bird group. They have a form on the website for relinquishing birds. I filled it out. A couple of emails later and Gracie will be leaving this coming Wednesday. I am happy and sad at the same time. I know she will be happier with other birds--period. No doubt about that. But I will still miss my little bitchy bird. :(
Gracie will probably miss Karma.
