Wednesday-9:30am

What a dark morning!  Just took these shots of my art table and you'd think it was nighttime.
It's WOYWW and you can see what other folks desks look like here
I think these sides of my hockey tape on the freezer paper look just about done.
Enough color for me to finish off by hand.
(Making my own version of washi tape.)
Maybe some more stamps...misting...circles...some more color in a few places.  Of course, these two sheets also have hockey tape on the back side so that means it is just time to flip them over and I will do all the finishing when I have both sides full of excess paint and stamps--but I do like them, so far.

Stay cool!  :)

  1. It's dark here too - and raining cats and dogs - but fortunately not Karma sized cats...

  3. I don't have a clue as to what Hockey Tape is (not being very familiar with Hockey to begin with). I do like your own version of washi tape though.

  6. Love your tapes! How clever to use hockey tape to make your own Washi! I am not into hockey or have kids that are, but I just love the way this looks and how wide the strips are! Winnie#84

  7. It's sunny here and it's not raining. I don't know what's wrong. My desk is so neat since I got a shelf-cubby hole type piece of furniture and organized my office supplies on it.

    Love,

  11. Hi
I am guessing that hockey tape is like double sided tape so your homemade washi tapes stick to things. this is agreat idea I love it

  13. Great to see you're feeling well enough to join again this week. Boy, it is dark there, hope it doesn't rain too much. Your tape looks fantastic, love the colours.
    Have a great week.

  14. The hockey tape I'm familiar with is the tape that hockey players wrap around their hockey sticks so they will have a better grip on the stick. (i played a little ice hockey when i was a teen)

We had a light shower this morning, then there was clouds with some sun and then there were thunderstorms with pouring down rain. It's been one of those days. Very humid outside today and still is tonight.

  17. Hi Rita,

I am attempting to go round all the T for Tuesday and WOYWW commenters that I haven't caught up with for two weeks now, and I have a whole lot of catching up to do!

I read about your interesting weather and the hockey tape on sticks, and now I see lovely washi tape. I have been thinking of trying this on masking tape, but then that might peel off again. I saw some other tape that might do, but now I can't remember where I saw it! (I mean for sale somewhere).
