Greetings!
My week was about the same. But then the head plugging got even worse this weekend. Leah is taking me to the walk-in clinic Monday. I think it is a sinus infection that I won't get rid of until I get antibiotics. We'll see what the doctor says, but that is my guess. So I don't even have one picture I took this week. I was actually surprised--lol! Luckily I have the pictures from Leah that didn't get here in time last week. :)
Of the playground they put up for the boys.
Fun things around Liam's birthday. The Scheel's Ferris wheel.
Birthday dinner.
The first Saturday of the month at Home Depot kids' crafts.
Airplanes this time!
Liam's birthday cake being made...here's the surprise rainbow filling.
And yes--they did save me a slice of cake. :)
Another critter from another game, I would imagine--lol!
I was downstairs sick, but I could softly hear them singing Happy Birthday. Those two red-heads are cousins.
Some not nice weather.
Your guess is as good as mine, but they do go to Meadowlark Elementary.
Well, that is it from here. Very short one this week. I said I'd go in if I got worse. The last couple days even the strongest allergy/cold medicine I had couldn't open my nose up to breathe. So, time to head into the clinic. And then I have the OBGYN on Friday to decern whether I have ovarian cancer or not. Probably more tests in my future. Oh! Oh! And I did get into the lab for that blood test on Thursday finally and got the results back online. I was in normal range. But that test isn't that reliable, they said. So even if you get a normal reading doesn't mean you are home free from cancer. But I take it as a good sign.

Hope you are feeling better soon and that the doctor can give you something.
I've never seen an indoor ferris wheel before. How cool.
Sorry to read about the lingering not feeling good, Rita, and hope that stronger prescription meds will help sith the breathing issues. Looks like Liam had a great 🎂celebration and that cake was colorful.
I'll be thinking about you Rita! Thank you for the wonderful Snail Mail letter!!! Hugs! deb
The boys are engaging! That is a fantastic green space for them. Sinus infections are terrible. It has to feel good knowing the family is right there if you need them
I'm so sorry about the sinus infection and hope they can do something to give you relief. At least your family is just upstairs, that must be a huge relief.
Hope you get a decent Dr at the walk in clinic that actually writes a prescription! Hope you feel better soon. I hope you can keep your Friday appointment as I am sure that is weighing on your mind.
WOW. Sorry to read you are still not over that sinus problem. I was hit in the nose by a basketball in 9th grade gym and have been a mouth breather ever since. I can understand your concern. Good luck with upcoming dr. appointments.
Dear Rita, I hope your health improves and that the doctor can find some relief 😮💨 🙏 for you. Your photos are lovely.
Hi Rita. I hope you feel better soon. Fun pictures of your grandsons. I hope all the doctor visits go well and bring you good news! See you again soon!
I hope also you get some medicine for your "whatever it is." And thanks for the update. I loved reading what you do in the mornings on my blog. Sending hugs.
Nothing wrong with just hanging out with your furbaby. Hope you feel better next week though!
I'm glad you're going to the doc for your sinus/cold/whatever. It sounds grim and yes, time for meds, I think. This has hung on too long. Good luck on Friday. Yes, I'd take that test as a good sign. Sending positive vibes!
Hi Rita, sure hope you feel better soon. Sinus infections are horrible. I also am thinking of you and hoping for a good report on Friday. Will be checking in to see how goes things next week. So nice to see the kids enjoying themselves. That’s a great looking birthday cake and I have never seen a Ferris Wheel inside before. I bet it's really popular in the middle of winter.
Definitely time for a medic to take a look at what ails you. All the best on all appointments.
It's Thursday night. Are the antibiotics working? I hope they haven't upset your stomach horribly. Liam is so grown up now. He's a big guy with Ian. I'm surprised to see a ferris wheel indoors. Another thing you can do for your sinuses is put a hot compress on them. Put a wet (not soaked) washcloth in the microwave and when it's not too hot, put in on your face.
Love,
Janie
Stay strong, dear Rita... your photos of the children on the blog are wonderful, I love the birthday cakes - all the best.
And above all, all the best to you.
Best wishes from Viola

Hey Sweet Lady, I'm sorry I'm late with this. Ohhh I hope you can get some relief with the cold/allergy thing. I'm sure you have steamed your head to try to open up your nose. Glad you got at least one of the blood work done. You know I have you in my heart and healing ceremony. Get some rest.
You asked "When you added the coffee the last time did you use a mister or spray bottle?" No, I used a spoon to add the coffee. The coffee was in a tin at the back of the table. Thanks for asking, Rita.
I'm a week late getting here so I hope by now you are feeling better, I have had some zonning out days lately
