Saturday-11:30am

No pictures.
This is weird.
I somehow managed to delete my entire picture folder on OneDrive.  It is always a risk to have me near devices when I am this tired.
****
Luckily, I already had a short Ian visit video uploaded, so I can include that:
But I can't get his opening birthday presents video off my cell phone--LOL!  At least it's still on my phone.  I have a few pictures stuck on my phone, too.  Leah will probably be over Tuesday night for crafts and can set me up again so my pictures can get to my computer.  ;)
****
A busy, busy week.
****
Leah and Ian were here for a visit on Tuesday and that's when I took the dump truck/popper car video above.  Ian helped me water plants and he got a chance to say goodbye to my lone tetra who was listing at the top of the fish bowl. (Died a couple hours after they left--thinking of getting a betta.)
****
Leah came back that night for crafts.  She worked on a set of our Christmas cards while I worked on setting up pages for testing supplies for my bullet.
****
Wednesday--eye doctor.  He said it was definitely an ocular or aural migraine--a light show migraine.  Whew!
****
Thursday--dentist.  Cleaning and x-rays.  He thinks he can fill and not pull.  I am set up to go back July 26th.
****
McFamily came over Thursday night.  Ordered Chinese.  (What a treat!)  Then Ian opened his birthday presents from me.  (Didn't open Tuesday because Daddy didn't want to miss it--nice!)  I do have a long presents video to post when I am able.
****
Friday--Annie!
****
Dagan brought Annie over early in the evening.  :)  She has been under the bed since we showed her she could hide there.  She'd been scared, meowing like crazy, and hid behind the toilet.  We thought showing her the bed was a better idea for a place to hide.  Apparently she agreed--LOL!
****
I had a cat bed under the headboard for her down there and she's been snuggled in it.  I have slid the mattress forward, pet her, and talked to her.  She'll come out eventually.  Scary place.  New smells, new sounds...everything new.  Annie does know me, though, and lets me pet her.  So she'll probably come out in the daytime a few days.  She can come out during the night and case the joint.
****
I wouldn't have had a picture of Annie even if my OneDrive worked--LOL!  May not for some time.  ;)
****
I am totally spent...shot...drained...wiped...with all that going on day after day this week.  Doesn't matter if it was fun stuff or not fun stuff...totally exhausted.  Just wanted to pop in and let you know how the appointments went.  Both good.  Got to see McFamily and even saw Ian twice.  And Miss Annie is here under my bed.  The End.  :) :)

Computers can be tricky beasts, that's certain. It's nice to know people who can help sort out problems. I'm glad you got good news from your dr visits. Thx for the update. I look forward to photos of Annie once she settles in. I've heard bettas are hardy fish and don't mind small spaces. I'd love to have an aquarium or fish bowl again, but keep putting that off. I look forward to seeing your betta if you get one :)

I never thought I'd say this, but I'm glad you had a migraine. It could have been much worse. Ian speaks very clearly. I understand almost everything he says. I'm glad he's talkative.

Love,
Janie

Glad to have an update. My sweet kitty did the same thing when I moved: even though she knew me, she stayed under the dresser and cried for two days. Then eventually she came out. There's plenty of time for pictures later. Thanks for letting me know ho the appointments went. Sounds just fine, Rita. :-)

I have deleted comments to others THREE times this week. Something on my keyboard that I hit did it. At least it's not a drive. Sorry to read that.

Good to read Annie has arrived. Welcome to my world. Bleubeard is Mr. Social, but won't let me take photos. Squiggles hides under my bed until he's sure I'm alone with him. He also refuses to sit for photos. You may never get Annie used to photos. Karma was truly unique.

Hope you got some rest by now.

Too bad about the photos. I always worry I will do that, by mistake, and then there's no way to be rescued. So sorry to hear that. And congrats on Annie's arrival. How exciting. That makes up for the loss of photos. She'll com out soon-hopefully-and will be snuggling in your lap I am sure. Enjoy your adjustment with your new family member. Hugs-Erika

It doesn't matter what you delete as long as God doesn't delete YOU!!

Never thought I'd say this, but so glad it was a migraine! As I've told you before, I had them during my teens and 20s. My son also had them during his teens and 20s. We were told if you have them young they will eventually go away, which is what happened for both of us. So I'm surprised to hear about someone our age having their first. Hope it was also your last!

Light show migraines are not fun! I've had a couple of those. Hope you don't get any more!

Dear Rita, what a delightful video of a wonderfully happy Ian. Thanks for sharing. I'm glad all went well at the doctor's appt. and also very glad that Annie is now with you. I trust she will come to trust your love for her. Peace be to you.

It's getting so I hate computers and everything computer-like (such as tablets and smart phones). I hope you find your pictures soon.

Loved the video of Ian. He's one smart little boy. Very cute, too! :)

I've been plagued with those kinds of migraines since I was 16 years old. They used to put me down for a few days because they would also make me very sick to my stomach. I still get them from time to time, but they're not as bad as they used to be. My poor daughter has inherited that plague from me, and I wouldn't wish those on my worst enemy.

I hope Annie comes out and accepts her new home soon. I have a new kitten here. She just showed up one afternoon, but she's not one of the ferals from my place. Not sure where she came from, to be honest, but she's very tame and very loving. I tried giving her away, but then found out where the guy was going to place her, and I called and asked to get her back. (cooped up in a chicken house for rodent control) I haven't named her yet. Didn't really need a third cat in this trailer, but it looks like I might. My pics are all on Facebook. I very rarely make it to Blogger anymore.

Annie will come out sooner or later! I am glad she is at your place! You got good news at your appointments!! No tooth pulling and just a headache which is bad enough but a retinal tear would have been awful.
Hope you have a Happy 4th!!

Ian looks a bit warm. Hope he enjoys his truck as much as I enjoyed the one I had!

OH, I just loved Ian's reaction when he caught the little car off the table edge...too cute!

Re. OneDrive - Did you delete the folder from your computer or phone? If so, you should still be able to access all your photos online at onedrive.live.com. If I delete photos from my phone gallery or computer, it is still kept on OneDrive Online. It sounds like you just have to link your computer back up to the OneDrive to be able to access them again. Good luck.

Sorry about the tetra. I had that happen with a goldfish once...it survived for ages but the tank desperately needed cleaning. It died shortly after I'd cleaned it. Betta fish are very hardy.

I'm glad it was just a migraine and nothing more sinister...not that migraines are nice to endure. I've had a couple myself of late...not the ocular types, a lot of pain though.

Good luck for the 26th. My dentist put a massive filling in one of my top rear molars when I thought they should have just pulled it. He felt he could give it more time before the inevitable. haha They only pull teeth as a last resort from my experience.

I hope Annie is doing well and easing into her new home. It will most likely be some time yet before she is fully comfortable there. As long as she's eating, drinking, and knows where the kitty-litter is, that's the main thing.

I get exhausted too even with the fun visits and outings.

Looking forward to your next post.

Love and hugs from DownUnder. xo

Oh Dear Rita! I really am such a poor visitor here! I have just had a great catch up now though! I loved seeing through the reorganisation of your garage (Oh and the troll!) The trials you are having with your eyes! I hope it gets sorted soon! Your flowers are looking great, must be your little helper's assistance!! Hope Annie settles soon too! I love seeing the changing skies on your photos as well as your garden visitors! Shame about your photos going AWOL! Loved seeing and hearing little Ian and his dump truck! He's a proper little chatterbox - love the carwash actions too! Hope you have some decent weather….and a rest! Hugs, Chrisx

I do hope you can retrieve your photos eventually.

Migraine is no picnic, but I guess you are relieved that your problem was not more serious.

Hope you are keeping well Rita.

What a busy week! Hope you were able to get your photos back. Ian is getting to be so big. Seems like yesterday he was a baby.
