Good afternoon!  I honestly almost forgot to post!  And I need to hurry as I might be going to get my blood pressure checked this afternoon.  (Been on the new BP pills over two weeks and no problems so far.)
****
Leah came for Craft Nite on Thursday and the first thing we did was go out to the garage to re-pot my spider plant and plant some cat grass for Annie.
I thought I would try them on the end table by the patio door...
...but Annie started chewing on the spider plant so they went back up on the desk hutch.
Too bad.  The spider would have loved it by the patio door with all the natural light.  Oh well.
****
Leah and I worked on the Birthday card sets.  Leah finished cutting out the orange ribbon tags.  Later I finished putting the fronts together and drew on the balloon strings in the insides on the one set.
Leah stamped the sentiment inside the other set, too.

Yup!  Both sets are finished--tada!  :)
****
We've had rain off and on.  The weather has cooled off now since yesterday.  Ahhh!
I had Gramma Day on Saturday.  Ian's choice.  He was glued to the screen--sucking here on a gummy worm.
We watched new season 3 episodes of PJMasks all afternoon!  LOL!
He was a happy camper.
****
And here it is Monday already!  Whoohoo!
****
Short and sweet this time.
Hope everyone has a good week!
Till next time.  :) :)

Nice to hear you're feeling better enough to have a Gramma Day. Too bad the spider plant is so tasty to Annie! :-)

I used to have spider plants and loved them. I may try another one if I can hang it out of reach of curious kitties! Happy to hear you had Craft night and Gramma Day! You and Leah are really making progress on cards. Take care!

It's too bad you can't keep the spider plant by the patio door. I'd love to have some indoor plants, but my cats would probably demolish them.
Our weather has "cooled off" a little today - but yesterday was 85. Welcome to autumn!

Once again dear Rita I am on a big catch up(which seems even longer as I see that like a lot of comments on other blogs , some comments have not published!)
Those lovely little boys seem to have grown up so much! I'm pleased your meds are working! You and Leah seem to being doing a great job on the card front! I use the same planner every year (from a company called Muji) as it has enough 'Note' pages at the back to write down Monthly challenges plus my TIOT challenges and any other monthly ones that come up on Instagram - saves me looking on the internet! I've looked at loads more but nothing comes close! I'm glad that Annie settled down again - mind you the returning wildlife will help there too! I haven't left any comments elsewhere on your posts - just here, but I have so enjoyed catching up! Take care and have a lovely week! Hugs, Chrisx

You had a good week Rita, loved seeing sweet Ian and reading that you and Leah made great progress on the Birthday Card Sets. Always love the comment you share on my Thursday post. Since my last post I noticed that the rat ate most of my spider plant and wreaked my Aloe plant. Yesterday I think the night time chewing/scratching noises in the walls are over - because I suspect the rat died. Just hope it was in the furnace room wall which is directly under the hole behind the dishwasher wall so we will have a way to remove the remains. Nasty business.
Hugs.

Sounds like the BP pill is working well. That is one good relief. And I hope they find what is wrong with the bump on your hand, too. Ian looks so intent in that photo. Love how you did the spider plant. It will grow even better now. Have a great week, dear.

Your spider plant looks good! Mine always die. We had a bit of rain yesterday, the first rain in over 3 weeks. So far so good with the meds :)

Dear Rita, so glad you've had a good week. Thanks for the Willie Nelson quote. For four nights of each of the past two weeks, I've been watching Ken Burns latest documentary: Country Music. So I saw a lot of Willie! I've always appreciated his voice. Now I have more respect for him. Peace.

Darling cards. Has the swelling gone down on your hand?

My youngest cat Molly did a number on my spider plants when she was a kitten a couple of years ago. I no longer have any spider plants hanging around.

My grandson Ethan loves PJ Masks.

I read your newest post before this one. I've been on BP meds for a long time...actually on two of them, for different reasons...but I was taken off one of them recently. I was having lower than normal readings at doctor visits and we wanted to see if that was the cause. Hope they can get your BP regulated a little better. Good luck.

Your spider plant is beautiful. It is so full. Hope your blood pressure medicine is helping keeping your BP down. Looks like a fun time with Ian. Those times with grandma will be ones he treasures throughout his life. Loved the quote you posted at the end.
