Good Morning!
Been a quiet week, really. Another week spent being a chair potato with few spoons. Had enough to do laundry, etc, but that was about it. Leah came on Tuesday night. She folded all the envelopes and we chatted. Always love seeing her. Wouldn't matter if we did no crafting at all--just love her visits. :)

On Wednesday I did manage a shorter sit down to work on the calligraphy class.
Finished the last of the straight pen portion of this lesson. This week will be the oblique pen. :)

Leah came by Thursday night, too. She printed off the insert for the inside of the Valentine envelopes and trimmed them all down. Gathered all the supplies so Ian could work on them at home...just in case. Again--plan was for me to go visit on Friday and Gramma Day on Saturday...but neither of them happened. Just not feeling up to par and IBS issues--the usual flare stuff. I did manage the question day blog on Friday this week, though. Just basically had a quiet week at home. Currently binge-watching watching Absentia on Prime. (Dark.)

On Sunday Annie was throwing up all morning...like ten places! Was no hairball. I was worried about her but she has seemed okay now since then. I am keeping a close eye on her.

Later on Sunday afternoon (before their Superbowl Party) Dagan and Ian popped over...
...to shovel off Gramma's patio...
...while it was still warm out.
May have hit 40 degrees!
Ian even brought his very own orange snow shovel with him.
Love visits from my Dagan, too. And Ian was just a spot of smiley sunshine! In such a great mood helping Daddy. Gave me several hugs. He told me he has a little cough and sniffles but hoped we would both be well for a Gramma Day next weekend. Me, too!!

And that is it for this week. Obviously I didn't even take many pictures--LOL! Just been mostly pajama days in my chair pleasantly escaping into movies and shows while blowing my sore nose and scratching Annie's neck. She's been snuggled there with me the majority of the time. (Hope she didn't get sick from me.) We're doing okay and hoping this week will be more productive. Till next time...have peaceful, calm days. Appreciate those wonderful people in your lives. :) :)

I'm sorry you and Annie are having hard times this week :( I love hearing about your weather and seeing photos of what it's like there. We had a high yesterday of 70!
I've been glued to the impeachment trial, but I've also been binge-watching Babylon 5 again. We have those on DVD, and I've always loved that tv series.
I hope you feel better during the coming week :)
Sorry to hear Annie is under the weather, too. But at least the two of you can cuddle and make each other feel better. I love that quote. :-)
I'm sorry both you and Annie have been feeling bad. Sometimes our cats are like goats in eating the strangest things they may find and that can make them sick. They will also get sick if they get hold of a house plant. Even plants that are not poison to cats can make them throw up. I hope Annie gets better and stays that way! I hope you feel better too and get a bit more energy.
I just love those pictures of Ian helping his dad shovel the snow. They are so cute!
Ian is a good worker. I hope Annie doesn't barf anymore. Maybe she ate something that disagreed with her. Occasionally the dogs manage to dine on something that they'd be better off without.
Love,
Janie
We used to feed our cats some hairball stuff in a tube. Nothing worse that a vomiting pet...you feel so sorry for them. Hope she is better soon and you to!!
Grandchildren can always brighten a day! Hope you and Annie are feeling better soon!
I hope you and Annie are feeling better. It's a good idea to be a chair potato, especially in the dreary winter.
My cat Bosco occasionally goes on Big Barf Binges. He'll be perfectly fine for a long time, and then suddenly start puking ten times a day. I've never figured out exactly what causes this. It's definitely not hairballs. He has short fur.
I thought perhaps it was something in his diet, but that has been ruled out. I SUSPECT that he sometimes eats things that he shouldn't. On numerous occasions I caught him eating the weather stripping that I have around a gap in the front door.
Anyway, keep an eye on Annie and see if you can discover any links to her upset tummy.
So sorry that you haven't been well. I hope you feel better very soon. I would worry too with Annie vomiting so many times...maybe a hairball is stuck? Or has she eaten something that has upset her tummy? I hope she is doing better now. Hopefully, you will be able to have Gramma Day. xo
Poor Annie being unwell that sucks vomiting is horrible.
I hope you both are starting to feel better
OMgosh. The photos of Dagan and Ian shoveling your patio are priceless. Hope you feel better very soon. Hope Annie does, too.
Hope both you and Annie are feeling better now!
Snow, I don"t like (lived in Colorado for 50+ years). I like retirement with sand on the beach & sunny winter days like my post shows this morning! But, oh these pictures you share are winners! And knowing of all the hugs is priceless.
Our kitty Isaiah jets to coughing up food every so often too. They keep us active in some way sometimes.
Have a happy day, and stay snuggled & warm.
It's been a tough week here too. THe ups and downs of the temps this week have gotten me down. Went to bed at 4:30 pm yesterday and slept until 4:30 am today. It was 70 degrees Sunday and Monday and then a major drop in temps with snow and Ice on Tuesday and Wednesday :(
Your calligraphy looks great and I love seeing Ian with his little snow shovel.
Sometimes I have several pajama days in a row, so I understand what you're saying. The cold temps and being stuck indoors gets to me and Jerry... we just get through it best we can. How sweet that little orange shovel did it's work. Awww. ♥ You take care of yourself! Pray for you daily. Blessings dear friend! ♥
A chair potato with few spoons?
Sounds a bit sad but also very funny.
Pyjama days are fine, I have one here and there too, but not too often, except when I’m poorly.
Hope you’re better soon.
That was really nice for Dagan and Ian to shovel off your patio. Those 40 degree days in February feel so warm - especially after a deep freeze.
