Tuesday-11:30am

Haven't been feeling very well, so this will be brief...and I never even got a shot of my coffee mug for T Stands For Tuesday but I'm here.
I did get some cloud pics, though.
Have had some great cloud days.
It has become cool and damp.  In fact yesterday with the wind it got chilly enough to close the living room windows.
We're supposed to be in the 70s during the day and 50s at night for a while, which is perfect for me...except that the humidity is staying higher than the temperature.  Bone-achin' all over.  Oh well.  Too dang beautiful out to complain.
****
Not much happening here when I'm feeling poorly.  We had a firetruck and later I saw an ambulance leaving, too.  People moving out.  Occasional light rain and a good thunderstorm.  (I do love a flashy, loud thunderstorm.)
Karma takes it all in stride.
When it was so chilly yesterday I put her new favorite cardboard box out on the porch and she happily snoozed inside all afternoon...a treat she may repeat today--LOL!
While I am waiting out this fibro flare...I've finished watching Boardwalk Empire, am back to watching The Killing, and Leah and I have been emailing back and forth about the diaper tote I am going to make for her.  Since I haven't used my sewing machine for much more than repairs or alterations for decades, I have to do some dead serious thinking and planning this project through first before I start cutting the fabric.  ;)
****
Oh-Oh! The smaller desk I wanted went on sale at Office Max!!  Dagan and Leah are going to order it for me so I can get it before the sale ends on the 30th (save $70.00!!) and I can pay them back!  Whoohoo!!  So, won't be long and I'll have a big box in my apartment waiting for my old huge desk to be emptied & taken apart some time in September and given away on freecycle.  I am excited to be making changes and downsizing.  Feels really good!  :):)
****
But for right now...smokin' brain cells on how to make the diaper tote, glad it's not windy or raining so I can have the whole place opened up today, Karma's catching the last morning rays, a group of loud boys are in the parking lot trying to learn how to skateboard, and I am sipping on my coffee.  ;)
****
Happy Tuesday!!  :):)

Hope you are feeling less achy very soon!

I'm so sorry you don't feel well. The diaper tote will turn out beautifully. I was colonoscopized and lived to tell the tail.

Love,
Janie

We're in the 70sF at night and the 90s during the day. Hot & humid here, but we should expect it here.

Downsizing is appealing. I aim at less and smaller. Except for books ;)

I hope you're feeling better soon!

I'm feeling a bit under the weather, too. Not sick or anything, but today in exercise class I felt like I was in a fog. No energy, so I'm taking it easy this afternoon. I want to be ready for our hike on Thursday. I'm sending you my leftover smiles, however. :-)

Sending lots of healing light. You do have the most lovely sky and clouds from your window. Pretty cute kitty too!

I'm with Divers and Sundry. It's in the high 70s at night and we've reached over 100 every day this week. I'm a cool weather gal, so I'd take your weather, muggy or not, any day over this mess.

Your new desk sounds great. I'll look forward to its arrival. And it's great you were able to save so much on it, too.

Get to feeling better soon. It's never fun to feel bad, and you haven't felt bad in a long time.

Thanks for joining T this Tuesday. Those clouds look like rain clouds and rain is wet like a drink (grin). So, you don't need a drink as long as you have those clouds hanging around ready to spit out rain.

You may not be feeling great but it doesn’t stop you creating, does it?

I am glad Leah and Dagan are good to you and help you where they can. Be thankful for small mercies; all will be well.

I hope your health will soon recover.

I'm delighted to hear that things are still moving along with the ove. Have I missed news of which apartment you're getting? I do hope it's the one with two beds you wanted ;) How nice that you are getting a good deal on a new desk too. Whoot! I hope the current flare up settles soon and you can concentrate more easily on creating a fab tote. Enjoy the last of the warmth Rita. We are here too, we've had cold and rain for a couple of weeks but beautiful warm sunshine for the past couple of says. Autumn (Fall) is knocking on the door. (hugs) Mo

Wonderful and uplifting quote dear Rita.
Hope you are feeling much better very soon!
Gorgeous skies you are sharing with us from your window on the world...Karma tucked up in that box does look and sound cozy.
I was hooked on both of the shows you mentioned...finished Season 4 of The Killing on Netflix a couple of weeks ago.
Have you seen True Detective with Matthew McConahey and Woody Harrelson? boy is that ever well written and just creepy enough too!
Happy T Day to you

Sorry to hear you are "under the weather" That likely wasn't the best of jokes...

Hope you're feeling better soon, and that by the time you have the ability to make the diaper bag you've got all the details figured out and can just cut and stitch away to your heart's content.

That's great about the desk!

Give Karma some loving from me!

I feel for you Rita. I came down with a flu which knocked me on the couch for three days. I finally feel better today but still not 100%. Glad you got a great deal on your new desk for your new home!!! Looking forward to your diaper bag project too. What a wonderful quote. So uplifting. Thanks for that. Have a great Saturday my friend and feel better soon!

Karma looks so content in her box. Reminds me of one of our cats (Eenie) who likes to explore boxes as well. Hope you're feeling better soon!
