Tuesday-6:30am

Cloudy days, but no snow.
The sun is at just the right angle now that Karma can snooze in her cat bed...
...right on her chair and bask for a few minutes on a sunny morning. ;)
Warning to those who can't handle seeing a cut...
skip down quickly. (But it's not that bad, really!)
****
I am absolutely delighted with what the cut looked like already yesterday at the unveiling! Whoohoo!! This gaping wound is looking mighty fine!!
Pardon my crusty looking finger...all the soaking in hydrogen peroxide is drying my finger out. BUT! LOOK!! You can see where this whole bottom slice with the curve...well, almost 90 degree angle, actually...almost half the cut...is nearly healed already!! Whoohoo!!
The knife fell point down in this deepest wound on the top and then fell down across my finger, slicing the side open, and into the sink. This bottom slice on the side of my finger was wide open, too, but not to the bone like on the top.
****
Wow! Happy, happy me!! :):)
I soaked it in hydrogen peroxide again, left it open to the air for about an hour, and then wrapped it up again with the aloe vera gel. After today's unveiling I plan to leave it open to the air for at least 2-3 hours...maybe longer. I'll see how it goes as far as the oozing/bleeding goes--LOL! ;)
I still have little or no pain. I did wash one load of clothes yesterday and it was sore for a while after folding and hanging clothes. There was no way I was going to try tackling making the bed, though...and I have dishes in the sink. Well, if I wasn't one of those people who have to scrub all the dishes off before I put them in the dishwasher...LOL! They will have to go in "as is" today, I guess. [I can almost hear Dagan and Leah chuckling. They tease me all the time about how they can't tell if the dishes in my dishwasher are clean or dirty.]
****
A few people had some questions about the energy work and wanting to know more about it.
I actually attempted to tell the story a year ago. Me, GA (my guardian angel), and SC (Soul Comfort/energy work).
****
Truth. I am a bit uncomfortable working on myself...plus I'm out of practice in the first place...which is why I am so thrilled to see my finger healing. :)
****
Anyways, for those of you who haven't read these...grab a cup of coffee or tea...and you will learn more about me.

Your finger looks amazing, although I have to admit that I did have to cringe a bit as I looked at it.

I remember reading about the energy work, and found it interesting. It obviously worked and I'm so glad it did.

The dishes can wait... or at least trust in the dw to do its job without you doing it first ;)

Rita, Thanks for stopping by my blog. Your finger looks great! Isn't the capacity to heal amazing? I so enjoy the photos of Karma, especially since we are cat free at the moment, and will take the time to catch up on your story later this morning.

I met my husband at a Reiki meeting. He's a strong believer in energy work :)

I hope your finger will be totally healed soon. I cut my thumb in half on a table saw and it was terrible, so I know how miserable finger injuries can be. I'm praying for you ;)

Your finger looks amazingly healthy. I was expecting a gruesome sight. Clearly, your expert treatment and healing energy has worked a little miracle. I'll be back to read each of the links as soon as time permits.Thank you! For now, could Karma get any cuter? She really is a BEAUTIFUL cat! And her contentment with life is written all over her face. xoxo

Deanna--I was shocked at how well it is healing! So happy! :)
I still haven't gotten to the dishes--LOL! ;)

Beth--Thanks so much! Maybe you do need a few extra winks. ;)

Theresa--I am pleased with how it is healing, thanks! Karma is sooo relaxed when she sleeps. ;)

BarbaraB--I am delighted with how fast it is healing!
You can sure come and get your cat fix here--LOL! :):)

Elisa--You did! That is soooo cool! You must both do energy work then--awesome! :):)
Oh, ouch! That sounds awful with the saw!! Mine was at east a very clean slice from a very sharp knife. It is very awkward while they heal.
I'm going to go do some more energy work on it right now. :)

Owowowow! It does look good, though, Rita. You are definitely doing something right for it to be so healed in such a short time. I'll go read some of those links about your earlier posts so I can know how you and GA manage it! :-)

That looked like a pretty nasty cut. I'm glad it's healing so well. Looks like your energy healing worked. :)

It's been raining here most of the day today, but the temps are supposed to drop, and there's a chance of some light snow here tomorrow.

Your energy healing worked wonders! How great is that?!

I tend to clean off my dishes before I put them in the dishwasher too. lol

Karma looks quite angelic lying there asleep with the light on her face. Too cute!

Love and hugs,
Serena xo

Desiree--It looked pretty gruesome the day before. I'm so tickled it is healing so well. :) Miss Karma feels pretty safe and content with me, that's for sure. ;)

Djan--I was amazed at how good it looked, too! The deep, to-the-bone part will take a while, but it's coming along nicely. I'm much more comfortable working on others, to be honest. ;)

AliceKay--Yah! You know it's bad when you can see down to the bone. Was filleted--LOL!
Still dry and brown up here. :(

Serena--Thanks! I am always surprised. :)
So, I'm not the only one who cleans their dishes off before they go in the dishwasher--LOL! I think it makes your dishwasher smell when there gets too much food in there. And my dishes don't come as clean, either. I'm too old to change my ways now on that score. ;)
Best to you--and some healing energy your way! xoxo

Lynn--It really hurt at the time, that's for sure. Thanks!
Some cats will like a cat bed or pillow and some won't. You know cats. Can't make them do anything. ;) I didn't think Karma would like one because she's such a sprawler and not a curler, but this one is big enough for her to push herself out against it and still be comfortable.
Hope all is well with you, too! :)

Sweet kitty in the sun rays. Purrrrrrecious.

Ouchie finger! Don't you hate when you have a cut like that. It seems EVERYTHING you do requires your hands and you can't do anything without banging it or getting it dirty.

Must be something going on in the ether - hubby and I both have had nasty finger cuts (me too: 1 knife on inside of right fingers and 1 poked with needle nose pliers on the left outside fingers doing jewelry). Glad yours is healing - ours too. For me it is an exercise in remembering how amazing our bodies are given half a chance! Makes me very grateful!

Ouch! It's healing up nicely, though. Are you settling in to the after Christmas wind-down?

That is one nasty cut! So glad it is healing up nicely!

Parsley--I know! It effects everything you do. Good think I am right handed, though. :)

Tammy--Good grief! That's enough goings on in ether! I'm glad we're all healing! It does make you grateful, for sure! :)

CarolC--I don't have much of a Christmas wind up. Having my Christmas with Dagan and Leah tonight, actually (Weds). Now's the wind up for greeting the New Year! :):)

Carol--It's doing very well, thanks! Glad you're back! Stay safe and warm. :)

Oh sweetie, I hate that you had the knife accident but the finger does look like it's healin' nicely.

Take care girl and let that man of yours spoil ya a bit.

God bless and have a fantastic New Year!!! :o)

Melynda--It was nasty. Looks pretty good now, though. :):)

Connie--Iggy mentioned they have glue for wounds now! How strange. I'm watching closely for infection. Don't want to see that dirty bum sneaking around here--LOL! ;)

Iggy--Yes!! I'm so glad it wasn't worse. It sure could have been--easily. I was very lucky. :):) I'll show my scar when it is all healed. ;)

Nezzy--Thanks, it is healing well. There's no man of mine here to spoil me. Just me and Karma. And Karma's the one who expects the spoiling--ROFL!! She has been very cuddly though. ;)
God bless you, too, sweetie!!
