Saturday-11:30am: Y

You!!
I want to thank each and every one of you for reading my words and perusing my pictures.  From my faithful commenters to all of you who just come by quietly to visit--whether regularly or occasionally.
I want to thank you all!
****
I never could have imagined when I started blogging for friends and family almost six years ago that I would meet all you interesting, thoughtful, generous, kind people scattered around the globe.
Me.
Housebound in Fargo, North Dakota.
You have blessed my life.  Some of you for decades and some of you just recently.
You bring me smiles every day.
Thank you so much.
****
Meanwhile, the chilly, windy, rainy weekend continues.
****
But I took these pictures on a day when the sun was sprayed upon the carpet and Miss Karma was lazily watching...
...the swallow shadows...as they swooped past the windows...busily building nests before the rain returned.
Karma says hi.
****
"May you always have work for your hands to do.
May your pockets hold always a coin or two.
May the sun shine bright on your windowpane.
May the rainbow be certain to follow each rain.
May the hand of a friend always be near you.
And may God fill your heart with gladness to cheer you."
Irish blessing

Oh Rita... you're WELCOME! :-) Blogging has become somewhat of an anchor for me too... or a beacon of some sort. When i first began, i was not so comfortable with the idea of sharing my work & words with others. Now, i can't imagine not doing it. So you're not the only one who feels blessed by the kind words out there. Keep doing what you do. We're all in this together. :-) xoxo

Rita, I have not been blogging very long, and it is a pleasure to have met you.
I don't know exactly why or how I found you, but I am so pleased that I did!

Blessings to you and Karma!

I am grateful for the blogging world too and the opportunity I've had to meet so many wonderful people, yourself included. You are a blessing in my life too, dear friend. xo

The rain here eased but we did end up with a cool, overcast day.

Love the Irish blessing!

We have had more rain here than I remember for a long time and it's still going on. The bathroom window has started to drip I think the flashing has gone above it. The road is awash. The flowers are drowning. And guess what in England there is an official drought! no kidding . Ah well, have a nice Sunday Rita. I hope YOUR rain stops soon!

It's been great getting to know you, Rita. I look forward to many years of happy blogging with you. (let's hope we can survive Blogger's constant winds of change)

The sun is shining here at the moment. We had cold temps and frost again this morning.

I've loved that Irish Blessing ever since I first read it. Nice touch. :) Hope you're having a good Sunday.

We're new to one another's blogs but the blogging community sure is a wonderful, supportive place. And of course we get what we give and vice versa. Your kitty is a beauty. :)

And thank you too! :)

When I first started blogging I had 1 regular visitor (my Grandma), and another who came by from time to time (my Auntie Lizzie). I had no idea what I'd blog about, and never expected anyone to read it. Now I have 50 followers (though admittedly only a few people come by regularly; which is fine) and can easily write at least one post a day. Amazing isn't it? LOL!

Hope you'll be around blogging for some time yet! :)

Funny how you make a "Y" a "U".

:)

I've enjoyed the Karma, Sky, and various "Rita Projects" over the years... You are a great friend.
