T Stand For Tuesday again already! This whole year seems to be sprinting past me.
Some of these cloudy mornings are so beautiful...
...but this morning is just one solid grey blanket.

So what have I been up to? I was working on letters all weekend...my trusty thermal mug of coffee by my side.
Still working on one of my bookcard letters today.
Only have three left, so it won't be too long and I will have to mass produce another batch.
I use several kinds of regular paper and stationery to write letters, too. You know how I love variety. ;)

My exciting-to-me order came from Cheap Joes! Here it is out of the shipping box.
He had five sheets of 300# watercolor paper on sale for $25.00!! Whoohoo!
I'm even thinking it might be just thick enough to make a thin cover for a small art journal--that could be painted before or after it was put together. But just to use these to paint on--ahhh! You know how I hate buckling paper--LOL!
We had some sun, too.
It's been cool during the day and chilly at night.
Karma was watching the Swooping Swallow Show on Cat TV. There's been a lot of excited bird activity with that breath of northern air returning.
Yesterday my new library volunteer, Amy, came by with six more books. But I hadn't finished three of the last stack of nine--LOL! So, I have a lot to read again.
Mama's Bank Account was what the movie I Remember Mama was based on. Another book I have never read--but LOVED that movie. I was surprised the book was so thin! Anyways, Amy is a really sweet girl and I look forward to seeing her again.

BTW--the last girl didn't quit, she got a different job at the library--promoted. I don't remember if I told you that.

Dagan and Leah are back from their vacation and are stopping by after work tonight around 7-ish. I made my first loaf from the Betty Crocker bread machine cookbook last week--just did the 1 1/2 lb. white bread--and it was delicious. In fact, almost gone and I'll be making bread again in a day or two. I like the fact that they have the option of a 1 1/2 or a 2 pound loaf with each recipe. Or at least of the first ones I looked at--lol! Honestly, I haven't sat down and gone through the whole book yet--just flipped to the first recipes. Anyways, this white bread was better than the one in the Oster pamphlet. ;) Thanks for the heads up, Jeannie!

I've been trying to keep abreast online, too. Then with laundry, cooking, my usual puttering about, tending to Miss Karma's needs and whims...the days have just been peacefully flowing by so quickly. I LOVE the change of seasons and fall is my very favorite, so that alone has me in excellent spirits. And I'll be happy to see Dagan and Leah tonight. Karma is purring in my lap under the laptop table as I am typing. Life is good! See you tomorrow. :)

I wonder if Karma ever wishes she had fingers so she could use the Cat TV remote... I bet she'd be watching the "Nature" show on PBS all the time - and maybe something crazy too, like "Martha Speaks."
Karma trying to get in on the act! The days are really going by fast. Looking forward to seeing the book card letters. Blessings for the week.
Karma looks happy now that autumn is upon you. Not so, here. It's still hot, but we got some rain, which I didn't think we needed.
That watercolor paper is BIG. I had NO idea 300 lb watercolor paper was that expensive. I about fell out of my chair when you quoted the price.
Hope you get all those books read this month. Have a fun time trying, at least.
Thanks for sharing Karma and T today, dear.
Oh, I love Mama's Bank Account and I Remember Mama! Such fun!
And speaking of fun, I am just trying to imagine what is going through Miss Karma's mind as she watches those birds so intently...
karma's adorable, looking out her window.
You are such a talented lady!!
Karma is so darn cute!
a pile of books and a beautiful cat! that's the good life :)
I love I Remember Mama -- such a nice NORWEGIAN family. Swedes, you know, are worthless. Just absolutely worthless. I think I read the book long ago, too.
Love,
Janie
Beautiful shots of the sky. Looks like you got some nice new supplies. I'll be tapping my toe waiting to see how you use them you know.

A lovely, happy post. Rita and Karma both busy and contented doing their favourite thing; that’s what I like to hear.
I notice the diet books, it’s too hard to diet when there is lovely home made bread to eat.
Love Karma, Jinx says hi too, but he's snoozing on the sofa... he does have thumbs and often changes the TV channel when he's not snozzing or watching for mice and birds.
((Lyn)) happy T day
Karma is one cute cat.
You got that many watercolor sheets for 25$ that is a deal. Wishing you a creative week.
Susan
LOve seeing Karma of course and I loved seeing the titles of the books yet to read have some or have read some. Still have some to go.
xo
Visiting your blog is like a breath of fresh air! I enjoy reading and do so nearly everyday. It's what keeps me on the treadmill for 30 minutes a day! Hmmm, maybe I'll have a slice of that bread now!
Karma would have loved the cat TV here, except the dogs would chase her! We had so many little birds flying onto the feeder, and across the garden and one on the pvc conservatory roof, which amazed Sooty who was watching and listening intently!

Love that Karma. I had to do a double-take when you said you trying to keep abreast online. I thought you were posting breasts online. My mistake...

Cat TV...gotta love it. LOL Love seeing pictures of Karma enjoying the view.
We had our first frost here this morning. I covered up one of my outside plants last night, but the rest are perennials and I wasn't worried about them. The plant survived nicely. I have it covered again tonight...justin case. I'm not looking forward to winter, but early fall is a beautiful time of year. Enjoy the rest of your week.
Hi Rita. :) Your Karma looks like Morgan when it rains. The watercolour paper was a great deal, wasn't it? I've just bought some lovely Japanese paper for printing. I'm attempting a reduction linocut in about 5-7 different colours. (but I have very little idea of what I'm doing...lol) I want to know what you do with the paper and what you mean by letters so I'm going to go explore your site a little. :) Have a lovely week.
Sounds like your happy and having a good week, YAY!! Enjoy your new paper, share it with us when your done. That Karma is always busy, my cat mostly sleeps. The days/nights are chilly here too, love that fall is on it's way! Warm fresh bread sounds good to me right now. Happy T day a little late!
It's always good to see Karma looking out the window, involved in life. You sure do have a lot of books to read! It never hurts to have too many, the hart part is when you don't have any! :-)
very dramatic cloud photos! love that you write letters in a creative way...saving the P.O. one letter at a time!
I love this time of year too....it's the best ....and with a happy cat on one's lap, what could be nicer ? My cat is so much happier after his dental surgery!
Have fun!
Sue xx
