Good Morning!
I know...posting again already--LOL! But I actually was doing something creative again last night--for both T Stands For Tuesday and the Zendala Dare!
I haven't participated in the Zendala Dare for so long!! Erin has something a little different at the beginning of the month. This month she had a kind of frame zendala and we were supposed to put something inside the frame that we are thankful for.
LOL!!
Okay. I was in a silly mood. ;) But I really truly am especially grateful for heat this winter.

I made a writing guide for the little writing journal with the inverted back cover. Now I need to find a purpose for this journal. I already have two writing journals going...so it might have to wait around for a while.
I am rescheduled for Friday afternoon for my Federal Housing appointment. Supposed to be a lot warmer by then, too. :) Tomorrow I have my annual federal housing inspection with inspector Bob...and than Dagan is supposed to pick me up after work for our Christmas Dinner at their place. (We always have a dinner together some time after the holidays when things have settled down.)

Miss Karma is looking out the window on this sunny morning.
What? Do you want your chair?
No. Not yet. I am going to go blog and talk about you.

LOL!

It's only 6 below right now! Even though it's supposed to drop down to -25 again tonight, the sun is working its magic! The crystalline frost is even melting on the screen door. I am so grateful to live in the age of central heating...and air conditioning in the summer. Aren't we blessed?!
Have a great day!! :):)

Central heating will help you out a lot during these days. Although I have to say I would love to see those icy landscapes out of your window.
Great tangle! I haven't done a Zendala Dare in a looooong time!
Good luck with your inspection!
Happy T-day (you should see what Karma wrote about you......ha ha!)
Central heat is good if you have a small place, but my central heat can't keep up and I'm freezing. I know it was hard for you, but at least you and Karma seem much warmer than Bleubeard and I.
Thanks for joining T today. I had to laugh at your zendala. You are right. Thankful for heat is a good thing today.
If it was hot, we'd be talking about hot it was...
:) I'm really glad my heater is working - brrr... it was 3 F here... I think it broke a record - but I'm looking forward to the 54 F they predict for Saturday!!!!
Up and down and up and down...
I totally love your zendala. And wish I had thought of it! About 2 weeks ago we had our heat unit worked on. Now with the huge zap of cold our way, I am so thankful it happened when it did.
Hi Rita......I am with you on the gratitude for heat!!! Man it is cold! Please stay in and stay warm.... LOL Love that Karma girl.... shes such a hoot!
I am thankful for heat too!! It is warming up some here. Right now it is 0 degrees up from 8 below this morning!
Heat is wonderful. I suspect that when my house was built that the only source of heat was the fireplace.
Love,
Janie
I completely agree with you; I am grateful for heat, too! Happy T Day. :)
karma's adorable. :)
That's a perfect zendala, and the importance of HEAT makes it just right for lots of people today, Rita. Glad to hear you are rescheduled, and that it will be a lot warmer by then. :-)
It's so funny that we are at different extremes weather-wise. I am grateful for the reprieve we are currently having from the heat-wave. I dream of air-con!
Nice work on the Zendala!
Jack laid claim to Bradley's recliner in our lounge-room some time ago. Now, when Bradley sits in the recliner, Jack sits on the floor at Brad's feet and stares/glares up at him as if willing him to move out of 'his' chair. lol
Yes.. heat is a good thing!! after 17" of snow Sunday and -30 temps here in Indiana, I am very thankful for heat..both fireplace and central!!..and my little space heater while working on the tangles!
the stripes are reminiscent of old pillow ticking.. which is a reminder of a nice warm bed under a couple thick quilts!!
I think a number of us have been thankful for heat recently. I am close to Karen and dealt with the same weather. The heat helped thaw out some pipes that froze. Fortunately before they burst.
I'm very thankful for our heat right now, we aren't as cold as you but close to it. The sun was out here today too and was so pretty on the snow. Tomorrow should be a bit warmer, YAY!!
So cute that he sits in your chair like it's his chair, haha.
Thanks for sharing and Happy T Day!
Oh and lOOOOVE the zentangle!
Your Zentangle looks so inspiring. Wishing you a Happy New Year.
Clever of you to put HEAT inside your mandala. I like the way you treated the pieces in the frame as well.
Here's hoping it warms up for you soon.
Darla
Hope your meeting and your inspection go well.
The zendala looks like a guitar pick. I really like it!
:)
I like and yeah if it is cold outside you want it to be warm inside and when it is stinking bloody hot outside you want it nice and cool inside.
I must say I am grateful for heat here in MN also!! So cold this year. Nice tangle.
So nice to see a zendala of yours again. And ..... such a beautiful one.
Kees yourself and Karma warm!
Heat has been a priority for me the past week also.... this frigid weather is not good on my ole bones and muscles. Thankful that our heating system was able to keep up and that the fireplace provided the extra cozy warmth in the living room that makes winter bearable . Hope your appointments all go well this week.
Carol
Fabulous HEAT doodle you created Rita...so much of the country needs more of that ;)
but you really do get frigid temps!
Karma is too cute and funny...
hope it's warming up for you a bit and that you had a Happy T Day (where does the time go!)
oxo
I don't blame your for having the weather on your mind! And HEAT seems a jolly good thing to be grateful for - although not one of the highest sentiments, you'd be feeling pretty miserable without it. I love your tangles around this cosy word!Axxx
Karma had a wonderful perch to look out on that cold wintery day. I can see why you were grateful for heat on a day like that!!
Neat looking zendala. Very creative. I'm grateful for heat, too. Just sucks that it costs so much to get it.
Loved the pics of Karma. She looks quite content. :)
