Thursday-11:15am

Well, I finished in time!  Here's my entry for the Zendala challenge #15 that Erin holds at The Bright Owl.
This was the template.
As usual, I just started without any kind of plan...
...favoring my geometric shapes, of course...
...until I ended up here.
Short and sweet today.  Not even a quote--but I will leave you with a where's the Waldo jet...
...(have to click to make it larger--I knew it was there and had trouble finding the small airplane dot against the clouds)...
...and something my oldest girlfriend, Linny, (56 years and counting) sent me...and now I can't get the song out of my head--LOL!  Enjoy!!

My Doodling books came last week, I really must post photo's of them.

I also found out that they still do the Altaire books on Amazon. They are all based on mathematical equations, very much like the picture that you did. But I've five or six 60 pages books to go through at my leisure! ;)

Your Zendala is very nice! I must have missed that one..I will have to go and print it out! I am not getting too far in that dept..LOL..although I find it relaxing!
I like your new shelf unit..I would have to paint the bottoms of the boards black too..OCD sucks some times:(

I'm always impressed with your zendoodles. You make them look almost easy. Wish I had your grip!

Well, I THINK I found the plane. It was pretty hard to see and aptly named.

You are the queen of geometric zendala. You should win a gold medal at the zendala Olympics.

Love,
Janie

You should be proud of that zendala, it's simply lovely! Glad to hear you're feeling spunky again. Hope you do well in the competition. Or is it one? I'm not sure.

Great tangle- love how you used the colors in the pattern! I didn't find the plane, but I did learn that my monitor is very dirty...

Dear Rita, first of all, thank you for the Rita Hayworth video. I never realized that she started out as a dancer. Or if I knew that, I've forgotten it. She was quite good I think--at least from looking at these clips with her dancing with Fred Astaire and Gene Kelly.

Second, your Zendella is lovely. You have such a fine sense of color and composition. Peace.

I like how your Zendala turned out this week. Not too busy, but enough color to pop out at you.

I found the Waldo jet too.

Loved the Rita Hayworth video! I went to YouTube and it listed all the movies the clips are from. I don't think I've seen any of them. I'll have to keep an eye out for her movies on TCM. Anything with Fred or Gene is good watching.

I found Waldo, too. ;)

Loved the video! I love that particular song to begin with, and mixing it with clips of those old movies was ingenious! Thanks for brightening my day. :)
