Sunday-10:45am

Here's a couple of old pictures of Karma when she got her new "dog" bed. Funny how she has to press her head against things--even the soft rolled edge of the bed--hehe!
She quit using it for sleeping and the bed is now her treat can area.
I was cleaning up my photos and thought those were too cute to delete. :)

Yesterday Karma still wanted to go sit outside on the porch, even if it was to chilly to sprawl about and she huddled up next to the door.
I thought I'd show you her two new collars before I forgot.
Having her name embroidered on this one is soooo cool!

It has a soft suede inside and, as you can see, the embroidery work was done before the collar was constructed.
I was a little afraid the buckle was going to be too heavy for a cat, but it isn't--at least for a big cat like Miss Karma. It's just heavy enough to usually keep her name on the back of her neck--hehe! (They make personalized dog collars, too.)
The one I call the rainbow collar is adjustable.

I have it big because I keep Karma's collars loose as I don't ever use a leash with her, anyways. I took off the tiny purple bell. Plan to get a new tag for her.
Her collar has flowers, ladybugs, and dragonflies on it. So cute!
And these are each hand-made! Very well constructed and I was delighted with them both.

I am deep into The Tudors marathon--so that's it for now!
Hope you're having a great weekend. :):)

Very special collars for a very special cat. They really do look well constructed. It's good to know there are people out there who can make things to last.

Enjoy The Tudors.

They are beautiful. Did I post a comment on a different blog?
Rita, if you are on Facebook, would you 'friend me' (such a stupid expression) here? http://www.facebook.com/barbb2

sweet and thoughtful of you! The crafters who made them really seem to know what they are doing. The embroidered one is my fav! Happy Sunday to you.

Sounds like they do great work with the collars.

What does Miss Karma think of her new "clothes"?

AliceKay--I'm amazed people handmake the things they do on etsy. :) I loved The Tudors!! All done with now--the end. :(

Barbara--Sorry. I recently quit facebook and twitter and a few other online activities. Was just spending too much of my few good hours on them. ;) You can always email me: soulcomfort (at) gmail (dot) com

Stephanie--The embroidered one is my favorite, too. :) Happy Monday to you!!

Tori--The only thing she notices is the lack of metallic noise from the flippy end piece on her old one that had a metal crimp on the tip. She just rubs her neck harder on things like something is missing--ROFL! I practiced taking her old collar off and on for weeks before I ordered one--just in case she would be freaky about a new one. ;)

I love that picture of Karma all scrunched into the dog bed... LOL!

Those collars are so nice! Almost makes me wish I wore one...

Did you think of getting one for yourself? :)

Rita said...

Iggy--Yes, that first one cracks me up! Silly girl!

I'll pass--even if they are cute--ROFL! ;)

Oh I love the personalized collar! I would love one for Barkley, but he has had the one with little studs since he was a pup. He has to look tough since he is small! LOL!

Awesome collars....the rainbow one is my fave! Karma looks sooo cute all curled up on the bed!

Heather--I keep wondering if Barkley is part Chihuahua? I had a pair of Chihuahuas when I was young and I think of them when I see Barkley. :):)

Serena--I love the bright colors and the bugs on her rainbow collar. :)

(I keep thinking of Michelle's lovely wedding, BTW.)

Good plan with the practice sessions with the collar before ordering a new one! :)

Tori--yah--she was a bit skittish about me putting it back on at first. For days! But I got her accustomed to it. Only did it when she was up on my lap and comfy and settled in for some pettin'. ;)

Just looking at Karma makes me want to stroke her fur! She is really comfy looking!

Auntof14--Karma has such thick fur that I think she look like a little bear sometimes--hehe! ;)
