Wednesday-8am: paper testing videos

These are boring for most people, but I did have a request to make videos showing all that paper tested I had recently done so this is what I did yesterday. I am a little out of practice...and I found out my camera only records for a little over 9 minutes. Never thought I'd ever go 9 minutes on the second one (right!)--but I was right at the end, anyways. Guess I need to set a timer in the future. ;)
Anyways, for those of you who asked...

Rita, I found these two videos astounding. Amazing. Just a treat to start the day. And I learned so much about paper and pens and journals.

That soft green cover on your journal of choice invites the touch.

Thank you for sharing with us one of your passions.
I can see that you go deep into an interest and explore height and depth and breadth and width of whatever excites your curiosity.

Thank you.

And thank you, also, for your comment on my Tuesday posting. I think I am a survivor and that Arthur, the lion, had much to so with that.
Peace,
Dee

That work board you have makes the perfect background for these videos. Nice contrast and yet, not boring to look at.

I get the feeling that I could mail you a box of random papers from here and there - and you could sift through it and identify all the manufacturers and the paper weights and colors... thats an impressive passion you have.

I might be odd (well, okay we KNOW that) but I really like those papers you have with rows and rows and rows of colored ink on them... Rita's Rainbows.

This is Dee thanking you again for a comment on my blog posting. The story you told will reach everyone who reads the comments on my blog. They will embrace you as a child who truly was a survivor and who felt capable of protecting her siblings.

For years, I've been telling my childhood stories to friends. Somehow, saying them aloud or writing them on a blog releases me from their power. And I reclaim the parents I'm sure loved me. They simply made mistakes.

I think that now that I love myself unconditionally, I'm able to love them also. Does that make sense?

Peace,
Dee

Interesting and most informative ~ What I admire about you is your creativity and your creative lifestyle given some physical limits ~ thanks so much! Love hearing from you ~ namaste, Carol ^_^

Dee--Yes, I love to totally explore whatever I am fascinated by or passionate about. I'm surprised you watched them. I figured most people wouldn't be too interested and would just pass. ;)
I am still working on the loving myself unconditionally--LOL! It really is true, though--the more you forgive yourself, the easier it is to forgive others. I'm working on it. :)

Iggy--Ha! I decided to use Leah's nice black mat because mine is a really dull, half translucent mat. I'm glad that was a good choice. I don't think I could identify too many papers in a blind test,--well, maybe a couple. ;)
LOL@Rita's Rainbows!! Love it! :):)

Carol--Thanks so much! I guess I am lucky that I have always had a lot of solitary and sedentary hobbies and interests--ROFL!! My productive time may be more limited these days, but I am never bored. ;)

Rita's Rainbows...I like it!

You do have a passion for fountain pens and paper, and it shows. I can hear it in your voice. You know your stuff, too.

I watched some of both videos, but not all of them. Limited amount of time at the moment.

AliceKay--LOL@Rita's Rainbows!
Oh, you don't have to watch them. It's quite boring to most people. I understand. I'm just glad you watched any of it at all--LOL! ;)
