Tuesday-12:30pm

Just a quick note. Actually I am so tired I can't see straight. I have had a total of three hours sleep since I woke up at 8:45pm on Sunday night, so that's why I haven't written part four yet. I'm waiting for Caroline to arrive about 2pm and maybe after she's done cleaning I might be lucky and sleep a day or two--ROFL!
****
Anyways, Leah picked me up after work last night. She had a chiropractic appointment and I just sat in the car and looked at the various evening lights.
The tree in the chiro's office.
The intersection activity...
...and non-activity--hehe!
And the white holiday stars strung along the roadway.
After Leah was done we went to the bank so we could deposit Christmas monies. ;) Then--zip-zip--and I was back home. Using Christmas money and most of the profit from the etsy shop--made an order last night! A new company I have never ordered from before--http://www.stampingscrapping.com/
****
The big purchase--a set of 36 Copic Ciao markers--in the new papercrafting set of colors. When I found this on sale a couple days ago it was the only place around that had the super-duper sale price--and I got the last one! Now there are a lot of places that have the copic marker sets on sale, but most of them are sold out. ;) Happy me!
****
Anywhooo--I figured this was the perfect time to get my very first copic markers--to buy myself a special Christmas present--tada! I've been checking them out online for over a year--so I am so excited!!
****
Also ordered the spellbinders rectangles for our Cuttlebug and a few other things--all on sale--tada!! I'll show them to you when UPS comes knocking! :)
****
I did watch Eat, Pray, Love and it was pretty good. Julia Roberts is always good, of course. I have a feeling that the book would be even better. She goes thru so much inner transformation that I'm sure the book would have a lot more to say on that score, you know? It was fascinating to see the three completely different cultures, too, in the parts of the world she visited.
****
Well, I think I might try to doze in my chair here until Caroline comes. ;)
I ate--now I'm praying--would love some sleep--ROFL!!
And as soon as I get some precious winks I'll be back with part four. :):)

Oh....you will make yourself sick if you don't get more sleep. Please take care of yourself. Karma needs you to feed her. LOL

Those were pretty neat night time pics. The streets look well decorated for the holidays, too.

I hope you get some sleep soon. I finally got some. I stopped taking the one med and went back to the other. Slept for 7 straight hours last night. :)

Hmm...somehow I missed part three. *goes to read it*

just checking in on you. Sounds like you're remembering a lot with your stories. I haven't seen that kind of cat treats either, so it may be something from just over there.

Iggy--It must have worked!! I just slept almost 11 hours!! Hurray! :):):)

Parsley--Giggles! Yes-Karma would be pretty worried if there was no human food and poop-scooper slave around. :)

AliceKay--I like any old lights at night all year round. Glad you got some sleep, too. :)

Sue--I'm thinking, also, that we might not have these over here. I've got Leah on the lookout, too. :)

Good to hear you got some much needed sleep (your comment to Iggy's)! The street pictures were kinda cool.

Deanna--Yes! I was soooo happy to sleep! I started having trouble with genuine insomnia (not the sleeping around the clock stuff) when I hit menopause. It still comes and goes, but infrequently and not a constant problem like it was for a few years there. I've always been a night person and had irregular hours, but when I was tired I could sleep--no problem. Never knew what it was like to be so tired your eyes burn and you absolutely cannot sleep. Sucks! I am glad it is fading away. Ought to, by cracky, as I'm heading on 60--ROFL!! :) :)

I can't wait to see what you do with your Copics!! You will TOTALLY love them!!

Check out this crafter on YouTube:
http://www.youtube.com/user/suzannejdean

I watch all her videos, some over and over!, to learn how to make the most of my Copics!

Also check out this site:
http://www.creativeplaystamps.com

They have EVERYTHING and they have the best prices anywhere - I know, I've checked!! I purchased two sets of 72 Ciao markers (all that are available) on ebay, and have been adding to my collection with Sketch markers individually. Ciaos are a lot cheaper, but I like that the Sketch don't roll around and have the color code on the cap - easier to find what you're looking for.

Be sure to download a free copy of the Copic color sheet, so you can see what you have already and don't accidently order the same color twice. Just ask me how I know this, lol!!!!

Jeannie--I have been looking at some things about copics on line for over a year. I actually had already subscribed to Suzanne Dean's videos. You're right--there is so much on youtube! I'm looking forward to playing with my new toys--hehe!

I looked at the link for Creative Play Stamps and right now--the one I ordered from beats them in prices on what I bought.

I've never ordered from these people before, but they did have it packed and in the mail within 8 hours right after Christmas--was impressed with that. Due to arrive on the 3rd. We'll see what shape everything is in on arrival. ;)

Funny--I liked the Ciaos BECAUSE they were oval and not square--hehe! I tend to not like holding square pens or markers.

Anyways, I used my Christmas money for them. Usually $149 to over $200 and they were on sale for $114.99! Happy, happy me! I'd never have gotten them without the Christmas money! Soon! Soon! ;)

Tori--It's been better after that. Some nights really good even. :) I hope you start sleeping better. It is so hard to sleep with a cough. :(
