Saturday-1pm

I started working on the satchel labels before Leah got here. Had to cut down and shorten the end of the cardstock that went inside of the satchel first--and then attach the label card onto the satchel with poster tack. So they won't fall out or get lost.
I snapped a couple pictures from the lobby of what the snow walls looked like when I went down to check my mail.
The maintenance man was working at getting down to the sidewalk. (We have some handicapped people who live here.)

Leah arrived and she cut my hair for me before we left. We went and picked up Dagan on our way to the hospital.

BTW--while we were gone for the CT scan they started pushing the snow right across the length of the yard so that those snow walls are gone now. You could see this process of shifting the snow piles all over town yesterday. They make it hard to see at the intersections and can be dangerous. The city hauls away the snow piles in dump trucks--little by little. :) And a snow pile can take up a lot of valuable parking space for merchants, too. I wonder where they dump all that snow?

Anyways, the CT scan went quickly. I wasn't told if I was going to be called with the results, but I will hear eventually, right? I may be wrong, but I didn't have any bad feelings about that mysterious shadow when I was looking at it on the x-ray. ??

We came back here and made dinner. Then I worked on finishing attaching the satchel labels and Dagan and Leah worked on cleaning all the small drawers in the tall rubber stamp cabinet. We finished!! tada!!!
Done!! Done!! Done!!
This was a huge cleaning and reorganizing project that Leah and I started at the beginning of the year. Sooooo glad we are done! :):)
Happy dance! Happy dance!
In our rambling conversation last night I brought up www.Etsy.com and showed it to Dagan and Leah. I have always kept that idea in the back of my mind--having an Etsy shop. I think Leah could really do something with it. I am limited as to how much time I can actually spend making things anymore. But--then again--I have had people asking if I sell my bookcards and such...?? Something to think about. Leah seemed really interested! :)
Dagan and Leah were gone before 9pm. Karma was so exhausted from hiding under the bed from company that she didn't even wake up when I took her picture with the flash. Didn't even crack an eye open--hehe!
This is more what it really looked like in the dark of night. She didn't move a muscle--chuckle!
It was funny and a little strange yesterday. Dagan said things have come around full circle. Now he was the one waiting for me in a hospital waiting room--hehe! When I had my hysterectomy back in 1995 he was in college up here in Moorhead and I was down in the Twin Cities--so he wasn't around, you know? My friend, Lynnette, was with me for that surgery. She's an LPN and really watched out for me. Thanks, Lynnette!!
I did sleep last night! Kind of collapsed--10 hours! Ahhh! And it is 37 degrees right now!! Melting! A crack the windows open afternoon! :)
Thanks to everyone who has sent me prayers and well-wishes!! I need them! I feel them! Bless you!! :) :)

Friday-4:30am

I think I am totally overwhelmed by the results of my consultation with the oral surgeon. Slept for under 4 hours and couldn't get back to sleep--so here I am. I don't know if I can explain it all very well in my layman's terms, but what I know so far is that the oral surgeon will have to remove part of my lower jaw all around that wisdom tooth because there's a cyst and the bone is literally deteriorating. It's not cancer, but it could be one of two things that I can't pronounce. If it turns out to be the more aggressive one (as far as bone deterioration goes) I think he'd have to remove more bone and I might have to have additional surgery?? Regardless, I will have to have a bone graft after they remove the tooth and portion of the jawbone--they do the graft at the time. And there's the possibility I could be numb on that side of my face (temporary or permanent) because they are removing bone right by the nerve. He can't guarantee, of course, but he said he's pretty good at being able to tell when he sees it which it is (the bad or the worse condition).
Okay--that's the first part.
I also have arthritis in my jaw--and the joints are deteriorating from that. The side where they are taking the wisdom tooth out is already bone on bone. I guess. There was a mysterious dark shadow spot by the joint that he wasn't sure what it was. So--I am having a CT scan tonight at 5pm on my jaw. He wasn't going to do the surgery until he could see the CT scan to try to have a better idea before he goes in there.
Right now that's all I can remember. Except for all the worse case scenarios they have to tell you as outside possibilities--you know, like cracked jawbones, dying and such--that is all the basics, I think. whew!
He seemed amazed that I didn't seem to be in more pain--even with the pain pills. I told him that right at that time sitting there talking to him the pain I had going across my shoulders, down my back, and across my hips from the fibro was worse than my jaw. My fibro pain is sharp and the jaw pain is duller. Everything is relative, right? When you're in pain 24/7 you have to learn to ignore it as much as possible--keep your focus elsewhere, you know? Otherwise it could take over your life altogether! So, I told him I have no idea how long I've had the bad tooth/jaw because it didn't hurt enough--hehe!
Anyways, surgery is scheduled for Thursday the 26th at 11am. Happy birthday to me, eh? hehe! (My birthday is the 28th.) If you can think of me and say a little prayer or send some good energy it would be most humbly appreciated. :):)
I am so blessed that Leah isn't working at this time so she can be with me for this and be my driver, too. She is bringing me to the CT scan at the hospital tonight. She's coming over for the afternoon and we are going to do something FUN! We are going to finish up with the labeling and cleaning the rubber stamp drawers--get this project finished finally--tada! I'll be so glad to have that done before I am laid up--hehe!
We couldn't believe the snow!!! My bird's eye view just doesn't cut it--hehe! Leah couldn't even see me come out of the building yesterday! When she dropped me off (she pulled the car up so she could back up to turn around and we were at this weird angle) we took some pictures. There are walls of snow! Way taller than my 5'2", that's for sure!! And they haven't cleared down to the sidewalk yet!
You can't even see the first floor people's windows!! That is a second floor balcony! The snow mounds are taller than most of the first floor windows all along the sidewalk there.

Most snow I've seen in the ten years I've lived here, that's for sure!!

Right before I left yesterday I got a package of goodies. Didn't even have time to open it. So--I had something fun to do when I got home. Nice!! I needed that! :):)
Mostly embellishments: crystals, sequins, pearls, button brads, dew drops, magnetic discs--fun stuff I have never tried. Also got a glue pad, pound of little paper (plain), and one more pretty little paper pad (8X8). Try something new!

Still waiting on the going out of business sale stuff I ordered in February from Luminarte. She said they were swamped and still making up some of the items when I called about 10 days ago--so should be any day now. I think it is/was a really small family type business. Sad to see some of these great little companies go under. :(

Well, anyways--it was sooooo wonderful that, for once, when I got bad news or something really bad happened--I wasn't alone!! :):):) That has normally been the case in my life. I have joked about how it must have been my karma--some debt I had to repay or lesson to learn this time around. You know how most people withdraw into themselves in a crisis or bad situation? They pull back their energy and more often need yours--so that, even if they are physically there, they aren't able to really be there for you, you know? You don't feel any support and often feel your energy drained off to them. Hard to explain. It's an energy/emotional thing that goes beyond words--in fact, doesn't need words.

After almost 58 years you have no expectations that it will ever be any different, you know? But this time--I was sitting in the room alone--trying to absorb what I had just been told--when it occured to me....I actually have somebody sitting out in the waiting room who loves me, cares about me, and will actually be there for me! Wow! I just got tears in my eyes writing that. :):) When I went out to the waiting room later--that was one of the first things I told Leah. She hugged me! I am so grateful! Life is good!!

With a mutual giving of energy--there is no drain. There is more energy--support. I know I have my people who love me--and I can feel their support even when they aren't with me and live so far away--but it was nice to have somebody in the waiting room--at the time--to give me a hug. Somebody I didn't have to take care of or help through my bad news, you know? ROFL!! Oh life is such a hoot!

Rough and smooth, high and low, dark and light--earth is a wondrous, wondrous place! :):)

Thursday-8am

I must have jinxed myself! First the little apple tree shoot fell over and now the leaves are mysteriously collapsing on this one? Looks worse this morning, too. :( Somebody told me that they do something to the fruit they sell in the grocery store that prevents the seeds from growing. ?? Has anybody else heard that? Doesn't sound healthy, if it's true. Would explain why the little seedlings come up and then die, I suppose. And why only about one out of 6-8 seeds will even attempt to germinate. Interesting....hummm??? Poor little thing!

Leah and Amber came over late afternoon. I got to show Leah what I had been working on all day--tada! I got all the labels she had printed up last time mounted on cardstock and attached with the poster tack. This tall one is the rubber stamp cabinet. It is in desperate need of cleaning inside--like the low cabinet had been. The drawers are kind of open for the dust to settle inside. You can really see if you click on the picture to enlarge it. Amazing how dusty they can get in just a few years--ROFL!!
After they left I started in on the new labels Leah made last night. Pulled the boxes out of shelf in the cabinet behind my chair there, right? I am concentrating and working away....and suddenly something hits the back of my chair! Well, talk about jump!

Of course! Who else would it be?
This fascinating opportunity for Karma had never even been a possibility in the past when that cabinet had been jammed full of bottles and cans and such--hehe! This is how she hit the back of my chair--hehe!
Anyways, it was supposed to get down to 18 below last night--brrr! But warm up to about 13 above today. And be up to possibly 40 by the beginning of next week! That's why you can say around here--"Don't like the weather? Wait a few minutes."
During the day yesterday they had already cleared 80% of the side streets by the time the evening news came on at 5pm. We do know how to move snow up here, that's for sure!
My setting the alarm and getting little sleep for three nights finally actually worked to combat the going to bed close to dawn--tada!! (Knock on wood!) I was in bed at 11pm and slept thru the night till morning!! Hurray! Just like the good old days--hehehe! Maybe I am finally getting to the other side of the crazy menopause insomnia? Hallelujah!!
Leah and Amber are going to come and pick me up for the "consultation" with the oral surgeon at MeritCare this afternoon. I should know now--today--when I will be going in for the surgery--finally. Afterwards we might go and look for lumber to make some extra shelves in the craft bookcases. Not sure if we will have any time left over to work on the satchel labels or not--we'll see. So much fun just to see them and hang out--two days in a row--tada!
I hope Dr. Magid is a nice surgeon. :):)

Wednesday-11am

Blizzard raged all day and night. Look at the drifts we had by the afternoon!

What did I do? Finished up the bookcards and made some YouTube videos while I did--tada! I put this flower stamp on the front of seven of them. Left them out to dry overnight. I used the watercolor technique with the markers and the mister to stamp the flower. Had to let them dry flat so that the damp paper (from the glue) didn't wrinkle the inside paper.
Here's the rest of them--23 in all. I really went crazy with the yarns this time. That was fun!
Was up late and couldn't sleep. Walked down with mail at 3:30am. Here you can see a little of the crazy snow drifts.

They came up the windows even here.
Karma thought she wanted to go outside at 4am--hehe! Was so windy and snow everywhere--she changed her mind. I gave her a little snow and she was happy.
What a difference a day makes, eh??
They were plowing early this morning (after I went to bed at 5am). That one handicapped spot--that car's front end is partially buried! The one next to it was, too, but they got that car out of there, I see. I can't believe the size of the snow pile between the garages back there! It is now almost as tall as the garage roof peak!!
Karma made it outside this morning. Complaining about having to walk in the deeper snow again, of course--and yet she went out and dug in it with her paw!??
I haven't heard from Leah yet. Not sure if she and Amber will be by today. It is sure a beautiful looking day--but it's bitterly cold out there!! They have wind chill warnings out for today. At least the storm has passed. :):)
This blizzard was worse than the last one. There was zero visibility outside of town--highways closed all the way to the Canadian border--more businesses closed--AND the mailmen were even pulled off the roads by the afternoon! My mail lady was here earlier, so I had DVDs to watch--which was especially nice in the middle of the night when I couldn't sleep.
I watched Milk with Sean Penn.
Sean Penn (in an Oscar-winning role) stars in this fact-based drama about Harvey Milk, the openly gay activist and San Francisco politician who was murdered along with mayor George Moscone (Victor Garber) by disgruntled city employee Dan White (Josh Brolin, in an Oscar-nominated role) in 1978. Director Gus Van Sant's compelling biopic (nominated for a Best Picture Academy Award) co-stars Emile Hirsch, James Franco and Diego Luna.
I liked that they incorporated real film from back then in the 70s. I watched the bonus material, too. They used many people that knew Harvey Milk for small parts in the movie and/or as consultants for accuracy. Was very good. I remember watching the some of the events on the news--from the first gay pride parade to the silent candlelight march after the mayor and Harvey were murdered. What I didn't know was what happened to the guy, Dan White, who shot them. (The "Twinkie" defense--junk food made me do it--duh!) He only served five years for the two planned, cold blooded murders. A couple years after he was released--he killed himself. Times have really changed since then. Never think one person can't make a difference, right?
Besides Oz, I am also watching a British series called Wire In The Blood...
Based on books by award-winning Scottish crime writer Val McDermid, this BBC series centers on Dr. Tony Hill (Robson Green), a bookish psychotherapist who uses his intellect to solve crimes that keep crossing his path. Working alongside dogged detective Inspector Carol Jordan (Hermione Norris), Hill sheds light on the criminals the local police can't catch, helping to make the streets of Bradfield a safer place.
...and for comic relief--Arrested Development--hehe!
Arrested Development follows the adventures of the dysfunctional Bluth family after patriarch George Sr. (Jeffrey Tambor, in an Emmy-nominated performance) is hauled off to jail. Responsible son Michael (Jason Bateman) takes over, but even he's no match for his crazy siblings and sharp-tongued mom. Jessica Walter, Portia di Rossi, Will Arnett, Tony Hale, David Cross, Michael Cera and Alia Shawkat co-star in Fox's critically praised sitcom.
Can't tell I love to watch assorted TV series from Netflix, eh? hehe!
Well, I guess I should try and contact Leah and Amber and see what's up today? :) :)

Tuesday-10:45am

Leah's friend, Amber, came up to visit and they were thinking of coming over yesterday, but we had a good snowstorm going on. I snapped a picture downstairs. It never looks quite as bad from my bird's eye view on third floor--hehe! I brought garbage out yesterday and there was quite a bit of snow to trudge through and there was ice underneath--very yucky!
I worked on the bookcards yesterday--and finished sewing them together last night!! tada! Left a few of them with pieces of yarn long enough to be built-in bookmarks--hehe! I'm going to make a video later today. :)
Yesterday was bad, but today is worse! We've got a blizzard going on! Can't see past the garages out there--a white out--again. They closed the Interstate from here to Jamestown already last night. This morning--all the major highways are closed, buses aren't running, schools are closed, businesses are closed, and they announced that they are not plowing residential roads at all until conditions improve. We're pretty much shut down up here. No travel advised--at all--period. The plows cannot keep up with the drifting snow and you can't see to drive really, anyways--hehe! Has to be really bad up here for them to close the freeways and highways--taking the semis off the roads, you know. As soon as the wind lets up, tho, we'll be plowed out in about a day. The ice might still be a problem, tho. ???

Karma's porch is going to be quite covered with snow again. The wind is pounding against the building. Won't see Leah and Amber today, either, that's for sure. Much worse out there than yesterday.
Karma is funny! Since it had been in the 30's and the porch carpet had been dry for a couple of weeks--well, she's acting like it is the first snowfall again--chuckle! (Short term memory loss?) All excited to go out and eat the snow since it "reappeared" yesterday! She's been out twice already since I got up today. But in a couple of days she'll be all annoyed and crying because she has to step in snow again out there. Cats!! Gotta love-em!
Me--I think I am going to add a little something on the front of a few of the bookcards for a little variety. I have three new Netflix DVDs. Funny--being snowed in is not different than most any other day for me, is it? ROFL!! :):)

Monday-10:15am

Oh well. :(

This is what has happened every time I have tried to plant fruit seeds from grocery store fruit--apples, grapefruit, etc. When they are just small they fall over and die--like they get some kind of rot at the base?? Over the years I have tried different kinds of soil--watered more and watered less--but so far the bigger tree on the left is the largest I have ever gotten one to grow. I will be thrilled if it keeps growing!! :)
Woke up to the start of the 3-6 inches we are supposed to get today.
The porch carpet had been been dry for some time. Karma wanted to go out on the thin layer of snow. As she walked she shook her feet violently--step by step--foot by foot. She stopped to lick up some snow...and spied her footprints!
I suppose it was like a negative picture to her of her snowy footprints she leaves on the carpet--ROFL!! She went to lick them up!!
Yes! Karma makes me laugh every day!

Right now she is parked in a window chair watching the snowstorm.
Yesterday I worked on punching the holes and choosing the yarns and threads for sewing.

Once I got into the yarn satchel...hehehe! Most of them have yarns this time. :) Been so long since I have used the yarns and thicker threads that I forgot that you CAN use any number of holes--odd or even!! Duh! With the thicker, fluffier yarns I use a bigger screw bit and have the holes farther apart (use six instead of eleven). Doesn't really work well to use the awl with the thicker yarns--too hard to get the yarns thru the smaller holes.

Anyways, I assembly-lined them. Got them all ready to sew and the choices made for yarn/thread--all stacked up. Only put together a few, as you can see. That is what I plan continue with today. :)

We are expected to have snow for three days. So, I need to contact Leah about being my back-up ride for the oral surgeon's consultation on Thursday...?? PitaPaseo is not good in the ice and slick snow--plus I basically haven't been driving, either, for the past almost ten years. I would never have made it to the last dentist appointment at all if it weren't for Leah. I would never have gotten the car out of the garage! Remember the snow we got stuck in by the garages? Pita is very low to the ground and a light car--so--we'll have to see when it actually stops snowing and how much we get and if they have time to plow before Thursday afternoon--hehe!

Leah was planning on coming over tomorrow to work on labeling--weather permitting, of course. I hope she can come. I always love it when she and/or Dagan come to visit! :):) And it would be nice to finally finish this cleaning project before I am recovering from tooth surgery--hehe!

BTW--I am waiting for Leah because this last part involves a lot of repetitious lifting and wrist movement. Just in case you were wondering. Certain things like that are just hard on my left arm. I can do them--but just a few a day. So then I might as well wait for Leah so that we can do them all at once. I can do the parts that won't put my arm out. We're a good team. :):)

Have a great day! Those of you who are in the middle of a snowstorm like me--hope you can stay home or drive carefully! :)

Sunday-2pm

I forgot to take a picture of the tub that almost killed Miss Karma and what Leah and I ended up using it for--hehe! It is on top of the hall bookcase now. All this came out of the cherry cabinet under the Air Conditioner!
And here's a picture of the anything soup I made. Chick Peas, kidney beans, beef broth, matchstick carrots, diced tomatoes, spices, and beef bones from Dagan and Leah. Yummy!
Yesterday I finally did a couple more videos on how to make the bookcards--the hole punching and sewing them up with embroidery thread. I will be working on the stack of bookcards little by little and take a video when they're all finally done.
Finished watching season one of Oz (HBO prison series) from 1997.
From the Oscar- and Emmy-winning team of Berry Levinson and Tom Fontana comes HBO's groundbreaking, long-running series Oz. Emerald City, an experimental unit of the Oswald Maximum Security Prison, focuses on prisoner rehabilitation over public retribution. In this world, you must choose your friends carefully, because every gang has its mutual friends -- and mutual enemies.
Harold Perrineau who plays Michael on Lost is an inmate who narrates the show from his wheelchair and Edie Falco from The Sopranos is a prison guard! Violent and fascinating. I'll rent the rest of them. Wouldn't be for everybody, that's for sure--but the characters and situations are interesting enough for me to keep watching. Season One ended in a prison riot!
I've been reading the books from Caroline, too. Lost in stories, eh? :):) Supposed to get up to 30 degrees today! Been a veritable heat wave up here--hehe! Nice! Love to be able to crack windows and doors open for a little while and get some fresh air!! :):)

Saturday-1:30pm

I really like these CD tins from http://www.specialtybottle.com/. They look like old fashioned movie reel tins and they hold CDs/DVDs. I plan to buy some more of them. That whole stack fit into these four tins.
I did spread them out into more tins (organizing again--hehe!)--forgot I had a few more in the TV cabinet in the bedroom. But now I can go right to the category I am looking for--with room for expansion in most of them. :) So--I have gotten a little something done, I guess.

And I forgot I had this in my camera from when I made Karma into the bed when I washed clothes--hehe! She slept for 4-5 hours in there. :)
Not feeling up to too much--but have been appreciating the sunny days and the warmer weather. Have a nice Saturday afternoon. I think we change the clocks tonight..??

Friday-10am

Fresh bananas in the house!!
She missed one--hehe!

The dentist office called back right away this morning. Honestly--I had been sound asleep so my brain wasn't exactly awake. She pointed out that I had cancelled the general exam for yesterday and told me that they couldn't fit me in....and I just listened and agreed. If I had been awake and alert I might have been able to grovel my way into a quick xray before next Thursday--because I didn't really need the full exam--but this additional wisdom tooth is not considered an emergency, I guess. True. So it will just be one wisdom tooth at a time. Maybe that is plenty enough for right now anyways, right?

I've never been to an oral surgeon. I had no idea that you couldn't just ask him to take out both the wisdom teeth as long as I was in there and they were already doing xrays. They are very much the specialists and nothing like going to the regular dentist, I guess. Plus--I am in this category of America's poor and uninsured. Who knows--maybe when I go back for the full exam and xrays after I get this wisdom tooth out they might find more teeth that need to be pulled?

Anyways, enough talk about dentists! *shudder* I don't want to talk or think about this until I go in on Thursday for my consultation. So, for now--no more tooth talk!! hehe!

It's a beautiful morning! Feels warmer than 23 degrees because there's no wind coming our way right now. Even have the porch door open for a little while just for Miss Karma so she can sit in the sun this morning. :)

Grab a little time in the sun if you can, too, and have a really great day!

Thursday-1pm

This is why packing paper and bubble wrap stay around here for so long sometimes--hehe! If I hide them for a few days and bring them back out again Karma takes such delight in pawing them and laying on or near them. Here she fell asleep last night--while pawing the bubble wrap.

I woke her up taking pictures...
...but only briefly--hehe!
I heard from the oral surgeon's office this morning. I go in for a consultation on Thursday the 12th. I didn't think to ask about the other wisdom tooth at the time I went in for this abscessed one. They can't take them both out at once unless the surgeon gets a referral for the other one, too. I will call and ask if they can do that without seeing me again--but I doubt they will do that. So--I might have to wait and take care of the other one later. Oh well. Maybe this is enough to handle right now, eh? And I have no idea how much this will end up costing me, either.
Anyways, I finish the penicillin today. Been up later and sleeping later. Haven't been taking pain pills the last couple of days--so far, so good. I'll let you know what the dentist says about the other wisdom tooth. Just washing clothes today. :)
Leah and I had a grand time yesterday! Didn't actually get much done except make some labels with the labelmaker--hehe! We just basically hung out and chatted all afternoon--nice!! :) We did figure out how we plan to attach the labels to the satchels (have to be cut back the cardstock on the inside and use three tiny balls of poster tack).
Been warmer out! 35 degrees right this minute!! Wow! Cracked open the windows and the porch door!! Bye for now....

Wednesday-11:45am

Karma apparently likes variety also. You never know where you'll find her sitting or sleeping in this little apartment. Of course, it might have more to do with ownership than variety--hehe! Anything new that comes into the place she has to investigate and, if at all catly possible, park herself upon it. Karma has her favorite spots to sleep--"her" chair and my bed--but by no means will you find her there every day or at any certain time of day. My life of non-routine has apparently rubbed off on her--hehe!
Leah didn't come over yesterday. I forgot that I had CashWise coming after Caroline left--and Michal was home sick from work, too, and Leah was giving some sisterly care. :) So--Leah is coming over this afternoon--soon! I had best get moving here. :):)

Tuesday, March 03, 2009

Tuesday-10:30am

I made a couple of small orders--kind of my last hurrah before most of my "disposable" income goes off to the clinic each month--hehe! Lots of great sales going on. :)
This one arrived yesterday and I just ordered it on Friday! 8 X 8 inch paper, dew drops, and a stencil you can use for making sewing templates on cards. I still have an order I placed in the middle of the month that hasn't arrived yet. If it doesn't come today I will have to call them. It is a going out of business sale--Luminart!! :( I think she is down to doing everything herself, tho, so I imagine she is swamped. But the check went thru the bank on the 17th of February, so it should be here?
Anyways, Caroline is coming pretty soon. I have gathered all the trash, picked up all the cat toys, and put together a soup to simmer for the day. Leah is supposed to come over some time today. It is warmer out--24 degrees right now--and Karma has already been out on the porch twice. Feels like spring to her, I suppose--hehe! No way! But she can dream of flies--ROFL!!

Monday, March 02, 2009

Monday-11am

I don't think I have ever posted a picture of my tiny apple trees--hehe!
I just dried out and planted seeds from my Braeburn apples from the grocery store. Out of about half a dozen seeds two have come up. I guess I'll just keep popping seeds in there and see what happens--hehe! Wonder if I can keep them alive? It's nice to have something growing and green with everything so white outside--hehe!
Nothing much to report. Making up my grocery order for March and planning more items I won't have to chew--hehe! Cancelled my regular exam with the dentist on Thursday. Decided I had best wait until I get done with the oral surgeon (mouth-wise and money-wise). Working on the monthly budget/bills, etc. Just the usual beginning of the month stuff. :) Tooth not bothering me as much as it was pre-dentist. Doing a lot of reading and TV/movie watching, tho, to stay lost in stories--hehe!
Nine degrees above zero right now. Karma was just out on the porch for a brief stroll. Me--just waiting to hear from the oral surgeon's office. Not really suffering anymore--so--whenever. No stress over waiting. Have a great day! :):)

Sunday, March 01, 2009

Sunday-11am

A sunny morning, as you can see, and 5 degrees below zero.
Quiet weekend. Taking my penicillin and not up to much. Because of all this impacted wisdom tooth stuff I apologize to the people waiting for the rest of the videos on how to make the bookcards. I will be getting back to them when I feel better. I promise. Pretty soon, I hope. The penicillin is doing its magic. :) But then I will be in bad shape after the surgery for a while, too. Well--when I can. I haven't forgotten.
Meanwhile--have a nice Sunday! :):)
