First snowflakes last night!
The Spellbinders order arrived.

We need the tan rubbery mats so we can use the Spellbinder's dies in the Cuttlebug machine. No--I didn't even try these yesterday. Migraine-city still. Today feels more hopeful. Time will tell, right? :)

These embossing dies look very different from Cuttlebug's.

This looks so delicate and fragile! Wow! This snowflake embossing plate (not sure what's the proper term) is what we plan to use for our Christmas cards this year.

And these are Christmas border embossing dies.

Anyways--let's see...
I forgot to tell you that we ordered the business cards for the Etsy shop with the crummy web address. This is what you get when you copy and paste our home page:
Later I saw somebody else's web address written out with the shop name.etsy.com? So I tried it and it worked! Arrggg!
There was no place we clearly saw that explained this little fact about the web address. How would we know that these two addresses get you to the same place? We'll have to go back and see if we missed this somewhere on their instructions? Well--so we had to reorder new business cards. They should be here pretty soon. Got them from www.zazzle.com where I had gotten my personal cards. We'll shred the first ones and make paper--like I did with my first disastrous cards I ordered--(not from Zazzle)--hehe! Frustrating, tho.
Caroline had called me in the morning on Thursday to reschedule again. This is very out of character for her, but she had double-booked herself for me and a family dinner. Being dependent on listmaking and calendars myself--I fully understood how you might not remember overlaps from your social calendar and your work calendar--hehe! So Caroline came yesterday around 2pm. She even quickly (cold out there!!!) vacuumed up all the dead flies on my porch carpeting for me. (Had a slew of them one of the last warm days.)
Miss Karma watched the huge snowflakes floating about outside the window in the evening.
It didn't snow for very long--just long enough to coat the field white and then it quit.

We could have more flurries today. Makes me want to put on Karma's Santa and Reindeer cartoon video that she loves for some mysterious cat reason.
Oh no! Now I am singing along! ROFL!!
It's only October! Weeks till Halloween! Sad, I know. But I do soooo love Christmastime--the holiday spirit and goodwill--joy, kindness, charity, loving our fellow man...ahhh! Christmas is all about love to me--stepping up and doing the right thing--unselfishness. It fills my heart and lifts my soul. Warning: Christmas and snow go hand in hand to me. Maybe why I love snowflakes! :):)

WOW....you're getting snow! The templates look lovely....can't wait to see what you do with them. I think I remember seeing something in my ETSY account section re. the address thing. Mind you, I probably would have done the same as you did before remembering....such a shame.

I'm dreaming of a white Pumpkin
Just like the ones I used to know
Where the treetops glisten,
and children hasten
To see carved faces a'glow

I'm dreaming of a white Pumpkin
With every Pumpkin card I write
May your days be merry and bright
And may all your Pumpkines be white

I'm dreaming of a white Pumpkin
With every Pumpkin card I write
May your days be merry and bright
And may all your Pumpkines be white..

Serena,
Maybe Leah missed the address thing--was reading so much when she was setting up the shop? Oh well. Expensive lesson learned, I guess. But we love the cards. They should be here soon! :)
